I really want to like it

"I really want to like this story. Reading the synopsis, it’s right up my alley. However, after a couple chapters, there have been several name changes, and it seems Marcus has changed careers a couple times from soccer midfielder to actor(mention of attending a Paramount meeting?) it got rather confusing. Writing style is great though, just confused. "
