New moon: The silence before

The cold breeze,
The cold world,
for a cold heart.
The night itself folds to paint her room, deep Scarlett crystals everywhere forming a constellation only she could read. gold intricate designs on her wall.
The velvet rugs murmur, crystals hang like suspended tears catching the flicker of candles and scattering them.
The scent of roses was long past the bloom. Leaving a faint scent behind.
I lay on my throne of a bed tracing the silver lines of my moon shaped pendent.
"A sigh of moonlight,
A whisper of silver leaves in
the wind, soft, ethereal and impossibly poetic to my poets and writers. " I say as I clench the pendent to my cold heart. " I want my moon like that after this darkness,"
I didn't realize that my maid entered the room, " What is her Highness thinking?" Rebecca asks.

"Yes, her highness, but Luke wanted this to be handed to you," Rebecca holded out a crushed paper towards me.
I snatched the paper as soon as I heard the very name__ Luke.

I stare at paper in my hand. I began to notice the faint arrogance in someone I never thought would show me.
