"I’m honestly short of words because I hardly ever read books like this. This is actually the first BL I’ve ever read, and I have to say... it was so good. Samuel Archer’s personality? Yeah, that did things to me. He’s not a character you can just skim through and forget... he has layers, edges, mystery. Reading him felt intentional, and that alone made me stay. And Knightley? I fully expected him to be rude during their first meeting. Like, mentally prepared myself for chaos. But the way you handled it? Chef’s kiss. Completely caught me off guard in the best way. Honestly, who gave you the right to write something this amazing? Because I was not expecting this at all. Not the depth, not the pull, not the way it sneaks up on you and refuses to let go. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who’s curious about BL or even hesitant to try it especially first-time readers like me. It’s engaging, well-written, and the characters actually stick with you. Please. Update soon. I need more chapters... immediately, desperately, urgently. I am begging, actually. "
A Sweet Treat
"Whenever I read this sort of books I expect the same thing, a flirty jock and a shy nerd and at the end of the day, their relationship feels so toxic. Seeing the summary, I kinda expected the same thing but it turned out to be different. Knightley wasn't cocky the first time we saw him, he was a person with dreams and worries that knew what he was going to be and was facing the rocky paths that would lead him there. The protagonist, Samuel although having a lot still feels like he isn't enough and believes he has to do more. Both of them are worried about their future and that will be the very thing that brings them together. This story feels like a warm breath of fresh air. If it's already such a piece of art at just 4 chapters, then I wanna see what happens as you go even further❤️"
