Chapter 1
It was just a regular day for little Stormy. She was curled against her mother, purring softly. Crickets chirped all around as the moon lit the sky, creating a soft and peaceful atmosphere. Her siblings were amongst her, purring as well as her. But little did Stormy know, things were about to get nasty, and soon. Moments later, the Sun started to make an appearance, lighting the sky with a gorgeous pink and orange. One by one, each little kitten woke up, yawning softly. Stormy at last woke up. She looked around, expecting her mother and siblings to be there, but they weren't. She got up, still half asleep and looked around. Where could they have gone? ''I could've sworn they were right here..'' she muttered to herself. She stretched and and sniffed the cold ground. Nothing. Not even a faint scent of her family. What had happened? Where did everyone go? And why? There was only one way to find out. She shot up and ran across a path. The path was the one her and her siblings used to find food, as it was good hunting ground. There were usually lots of mice and birds, aswell as bushes with the best berries. She picked some off the main bush she went to, aswell as eating a few. She got enough and began the search. Each step made her feel confident and strong, as she was all alone on this big mission of hers. But it started to go all wrong..
