Summary

After their sun went unstable and destroyed their homeworld, humanity scattered across the stars aboard a fleet of survival ships known as the Wanderers. Each vessel carries explorers, scientists, and soldiers - searching distant systems for a planet where life can begin again. Akira, a ranger aboard Wanderer-9, is part of one of the scout teams sent to survey new worlds. Their first assignment leads them to Planet K21-B - a world of endless forests and eerie silence. What was meant to be a routine mission quickly turns uncertain as strange readings and unseen movements in the dark suggest that the planet may not be as lifeless as it appears. Among Akira's squad is Natasha, a childhood friend and fellow ranger whose calm strength hides secrets of her own. Together, they must survive the unknown and uncover what lies beneath K21-B's shadowed surface - before the planet, or something on it, consumes them all.

First Mission

My name is Akira. I’m a ranger aboard one of the scout ships of theWanderer-9. Our home planet was destroyed when our sun went unstable. We barely escaped before it burned everything we ever knew. Since then, we’ve been drifting through the void, traveling to the planets assigned to us — searching for a new beginning.

Being a ranger isn’t easy. Every mission is a gamble. We’re the first to set foot on unknown worlds, to face whatever waits beneath their skies. Right now, we’ve reached our first destination — Planet K21-B.

Our suits are advanced — they track every heartbeat, every breath. Each of us carries a specialized weapon, designed not just for combat but for survival.

There are six of us in the squad. Only one woman — Natasha. I’ve known her since childhood. She’s calm, brave, and beautiful — everything I’m not.

Each scout ship fromWanderer-9is assigned to explore different regions of the planets chosen by the science division. Our ship landed on the southern side of K21-B — a vast forest region shrouded in darkness. Outside, the air looks heavy, and the trees move as if they’re alive.

We decided to rest for the night and begin our exploration at dawn. The planet’s day and night cycles are surprisingly similar to ours — almost unsettlingly so. For now, we wait, listening to the distant hum of alien winds and wondering what tomorrow will bring.
