What is your opinion?

Interesting premise, well told

"This was an interesting premise, a planet where BDSM is the norm. The characters were well developed, just enough background to set the stage at the beginning and allowing plenty of time for them to come into themselves as the story progresses. I started this series in the wrong order, I started with the second book and got about 15 chapters in when I realized there was so much that I didn't know and the characters kept alluding to things I hadn't read yet. That's when I searched the authors wall and realized what I was reading was book 2. So I stopped and read this one first and it makes so much more sense now. The storyline was pretty good and stayed on track for most of the story, with a liberal use of flashbacks to fill in what the characters are thinking at any given moment and to help tie the threads together. The three main female characters, sisters, fed off each other pretty well, but with some hiccups along the way. Completely understandable as their expected roles got mixed up upon their arrival to the planet to meet their promised mates. The one strange part was the reason they were promised to the Princes, it was said that their planet didn't have warriors so they were set to marry the Princes who would protect their planet from a group who were called Invaders. Yet the power level of the sisters as witches should have allowed them to protect themselves fine, or at least that's what I thought as I was reading it. I can see explanations for that but I will defer to the author for what was intended. All in all a really good first story that set the stage for the next book. I also like that the end of the first book was copied as the first chapter of book 2, it helped me to get into the second book..which I will reread from the beginning to fully immerse myself into the story. Highly recommend this to all readers, it was an enjoyable story. "
