Chapter 1
Kona
My name is Kona and I'm fifteen years old I have long white hair that goes to my knees and very pale skin with dark red eyes I'm also the only child to my parents Lily and Gavin Kent. My life is anything but normal from the time I was small I knew I was different than the other kids my age and everyone seemed afraid of me so my mom pulled me from school and we moved to the middle of the woods and she taught me everything I know, which isn't bad, my mom and dad tell me about a place they used to live where all kids are unique and that they have a second soul and a soulmate that is meant just for them and one day I'll be like them. If you haven't guessed it my family is what you would call werewolf shifters and my parents are part of the strong ones, an alpha rank if you will, and my father gave up his pack to his twin Dante and his wife Larissa because they had a son named Fennix and seeing how my parents were childless for ten years they stepped down and chose a simpler life hoping that it would lead to a child but five years of tests and treatments and disappointment made them do the unthinkable and summon a fae to help them.

It is looked down apon to receive help from the other species of supernatural origin but my mom didn't care and was desperate for a child of her own so on a full moon night when the veil was weak her and my father stood in a field and with shaking voices and ancient magic they called to the fae for help. As the portal shimmered in the moon light Lily held Gavin's hand as a tall, slender female with fire red hair and deep green eyes, emerged from the portal and looked at them with confusion before speaking.
"Why have you summoned me here little wolves?"
"I was hoping to get help in having a child of my own" Lily said through shaking breaths.
"We will do anything just to be parents" Gavin added while holding his wife protectively at his side.
"I see" the fae said as she looked at them with sadness in her eyes. "At what lengths have you gone before calling on me?"
"We have tried everything our demention has to offer in fertility and have been met with failure each time" Gavin said.
"I can help you but this does not come for free little wolves as it has been over a millenia that we have graced this realm with our magic and the child may be of both realms if you agree to my help, are you ok with that?" The fae said.
Lily and Gavin looked at each other and then at the fae "what do we have to do" they said in unison.
The fae pulled a sachel from her side and opened it to grab a glass vial, a pouch of herbs, and a silver dagger with a floral design up the blade. She stood by a fallen tree using it like a table and motioned for them to follow her and as soon as they were close she smiled and her pointy teeth glissend in the moon light as she spoke "in the light of the moon and the magic of mother night around us I shall weave a spell to aid you Lily and Gavin and after tonight your lives shall be changed in the tapestry of fate".
The beautiful fae took Gavin's hand in hers and brought the dagger to his palm and in a hushed prayer she cut his hand and held it over the vial,looking into his eyes she spoke " with the offering of life essence I shall weave a new fate for you Alpha Gavin may your new path be fruitful".
"Thank you my lady" he said with a nod and stepped back as Lily stepped forward for the fae to take her hand next.
"With the offering of life essence I shall weave a new fate for you Luna Lily may your soul be strong enough for what's to come" the fae said as she drew the blade across Lily's hand and as she dropped the blood into the vial with Gavin's blood she added, black dirt from the fae realm water from the spring of life on the other side of the portal and fire from the blue birch tree at the moon goddesses temple, mixing it all together as she said her prayer to mother night and the moon goddess she held the vial up to the light and blew on it and it started to glow a very faint amber color.
"It is done little wolves all you two have to do is drink this on the first night of your next heat and within a fort night you will be with child but be warned that this is a new soul and anything you do will shape it before it enters this realm and you will not be able to shift for eight months" she said with a straight face as she looked at them.
"Eight months?" Lily gasped.
"That is a long time to not shift. Werewolf pregnancy is usually around five to six months" Gavin said looking confused.
"This will take longer because you have asked for magic and a miracle Alpha it's not like I can hand you a child and say here you go" she said looking bored and then added "so you know because you wanted my help I came but I didnt have to do this at all I could have ignored you and went about my night so be greatful".
With the vial in hand Lily and Gavin left and after wishing the fae well and thanking her for her time they went home to wait for her heat to hit and the magic to take hold

So here I am waiting to get my wolf and find out what my mate will be like but wolves don't appear until your eighteenth birthday so I have time but I wish I could find out what this so called pack was like and why my parents left it to begin with.
