There Are Four Things I Want to Clarify Before We Begin:
1. This story is based on World War II and the Holocaust. Therefore, some parts will allude to real events that happened to the Jewish people, while others are purely fictional—created to give more depth and tension to the development of the story.
2. Since the story is set in Germany, the boys have second names:
Jimin — Dedrick
Jungkook — Adagny
Hoseok — Arian
Yoongi — Jacob
Jin — Carsten
Taehyung — Joss
Namjoon — Cedrik
They are referred to by these names throughout the story, so please keep in mind that it’s not a mistake on my part if these appear in the dialogues. (The reason behind this is also explained later in the story 😌).
3. I have no intention of offending anyone with this work. In fact, I’ve been researching as much as possible about these historical events in order to stay as respectful and accurate as I can to what truly happened.
4. Since the story takes place during World War II, I ask that you read it with an open mind and discretion. Some scenes may be uncomfortable, and there will be acts of sexism towards women—unfortunately reflective of that time period. I do not condone or justify such actions in any way; they are merely part of the narrative and historical context in which the story unfolds.

I am Mexican, and I rely on a translator to help me bring this story into English. Although I know a little of the language, I use translation tools to avoid making too many mistakes. I sincerely apologize if some parts of the translation are not entirely clear.
