Summary

This summer is different. It’s only just begun, and yet it already feels endless. Alura is spending the holidays alone at home. Her days blur together with her best friend John – the one who knows her better than anyone else. Maybe even too well. And when it becomes clear that his feelings might reach deeper than she expected, the fragile harmony of summer begins to crack. Ares, the charismatic man in the white suit, had warned her. And then she meets the mysterious Enzo at a party, and everything starts to shift. Strange things begin to happen. Something is wrong with this summer. Something is wrong with her. And the longer the summer stretches on, the more certain Alura becomes: Something terrible is waiting to surface. Maybe it already has.
