marina her step sister had poured hot tea on her earlier just because she wasn't satisfied with how the tea tasted.

"I told you right,you can't keep endureing this ciana,am scared you'll end up dead by the time you realize that no prince charming is coming to save you"bora said sniffing back her tears.

Bora is one of the maids in the house,she and luciana has been close since they were little.

"don't tell me that,I told you I can help you escape right you can't keep endureing all this"bora said.

"All done"bora said standing up from the bed.

Ciana stared into space thinking about her life

Thinking about how cruel her life has been, thinking about how much of a bad luck she has been.

how she has started bringing trouble into the world even before she was born.

her father died before she was born and her mother died while giving birth to her,she was even told that her mother wanted to abort her .

she spread the curtain slightly and peep through it just in time to see her step sister marina walking towards her car.

*Luciana walk into the dining with a tray ,she wouldn't deny that even though she has been living in this house all her life she still tremble anytime she was to be in front of siblings or step father.

"such a slow toad what took you so long"niela said.niela is the youngest daughter and even though Luciana is five years older than her she doesn't show her any regards.

"am sorry"Luciana muttered and drop the tray on the table,she picked up a cup of coffee from it and walk towards marina,she drop the cup of coffee in front of her and made to go but marina stopped her.

she took a sip from the coffee and just from the look on her face ciana knew she was about to stair up trouble even if there is nothing wrong with the coffee.

"Take off your clothes"marina said and Luciana gaze went straight to Ricardo

The only son and first child of her step father.

he's eyes stared eagerly at her waiting for her to do has told, although he has never made a move towards her but just with the way he stares at her Luciana knows that she has to be very careful around him.

"she's not only deaf but dumb too"niela voice brought her back to reality.

"you know I don't like repeating myself"marina said and without hesitateing, Luciana slowly took off her shirt.

Marina slowly walk towards her with the coffee in her hand.

The next thing Luciana felt was the hot coffee pouring on her back and her scream fill the whole room*

she close the curtain and walk back to the bed,she wore another shirt and Walk out of the room .

She picked up a broom and decided to sweep just so maybe she could forget how miserable her life was.

has she kept sweeping she couldn't help but overhear her step father conversation with someone.

Luciana's eyes widened as she overheard her stepfather's conversation.

The words "ruthless billionaire" and "LA" sent a chill down her spine.

She peeked through the crack in the door, watching as her stepfather shook hands with a tall, imposing figure. The man's smile seemed to hide a thousand secrets.

"What do I need to do?" Luciana's stepfather asked, his voice dripping with desperation.

"Just bring her to me," the billionaire replied, his voice cold and calculating. "I'll take care of the rest."

Luciana felt like she'd been punched in the gut. She knew she had to escape, but where could she go? Her stepfather's words echoed in her mind: "You're nothing but a burden."

As the men parted ways, Luciana retreated into the shadows, her heart racing. She knew she had to act fast, but fear paralyzed her.

on her way to her room she met Bora .

"I..I..I have to go"she trembled holding tightly to bora's hand .

"go where?"Bora asked confused.

"I have to leave,I want to escape,I can't stay here"she rushed her words and Bora quickly cover her mouth with her palm .

"Shhhh, someone might hear you"Bora said

"come with me"she added and drag her into the maids room.

"what happened why are you so scared"she asked Luciana.

"I can't stay"Luciana mumble.

"am glad you finally realized it but why the sudden change of heart,just few minutes ago you were bent on staying"Bora asked

"he's going to sell me"Luciana said tears falling freely from her eyes.

"his going to sell me to Diego Lutheran"she drop the bomb shell and Bora eyes widen.

"That son of a bitch "Bora cursed.

"that explains the rumors going around that his going to get a new wife "she added and Luciana grab her hand out fear

"I don't want to get married at least not to someone old enough to be my father"she cried.

"don't worry ciana ,I won't let that happen"Bora said.

"I'll help you escape tonight"she added and Luciana hugged her.

Unknown to them some one was at the door the whole time listen to all what they were saying.
