"10 short chapters were enough to keep me hooked until I finished the book. The first chapter played a major role in intriguing me, starting with the tension and leaving me on a chilling cliffhanger from the get-go. Lula had everything she ever wanted in her life, and her enigmatic and vile twin sister Selena envied her, wanted to replace her. So she slowly crept into her sister’s life with her dark magic, had affairs with her husband, and then trapped her in a prison of her own making with no escape whatsoever. At first, I thought that those affairs with Greg were kinda strange, but upon seeing how it ended, I understood why she did it: this sort of intimacy was necessary to familiarize Greg with her, and given that he mistook her for Lula, she can easily replace her without Greg ever noticing a thing. There’s no happy ending. There’s no satisfying resolution. There’s no true confrontation with the main villain, and that adds to the story’s charm. It’s basically a story about a girl losing everything. That’s it. But who is Selena? How did she come about? Why did she want to take everything away from Lula? Why doesn’t Lula know about her? Those are all questions I expect to find the answer to in the next book. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience, and I’m looking forward to seeing more 🤩!"

I devoured the eight chapters that are available and when I say devoured, I mean I inhaled them like air. The premise? Delicious. The tension? Illegal. The vibes? Immaculate. Every chapter pulled me in deeper until I was fully living in that world, pacing around my room like a Victorian child waiting for the next installment. Yes, there were a few grammatical and spelling slip-ups that made some moments a little confusing but honestly? That happens to the best of us, especially when the story is this ambitious and intense. And even with that, the plot, the characters, the mystery, the curse itself??? Still ate. Still left no crumbs. My brain stayed locked in. I truly loved it, flaws and all, and I would 100% recommend this book to other readers because the concept alone deserves to be talked about. It has that hook, the kind that grabs you by the collar and whispers, “You’re not leaving anytime soon.” All I’m saying is... I need more chapters. Immediately. Urgently. Desperately. Please.
