Summary

(DISCLAIMER: THIS STORY IS CURRENTLY PAUSED) Suki Muñez didn’t choose her life—she inherited it. Born inside a brothel, daughter of a high-end whore who died for loving the wrong man, Suki belongs to the Schäfers, Frankfurt‘s most organized crime family. They feed her, protect her, dress her… and keep her. To them, she’s a responsibility. As the boys who grew up beside her turn into the kind of men people fear, Suki begins to see what she was never meant to notice—and what the Schäfers never meant to teach her: That a captive who learns how the system works can learn how to break it. The Debt isn’t about captivity. It’s about what happens when a quiet girl starts paying attention, and everyone around her realizes she’s not as harmless as they thought. If you want to know who Suki becomes… you’ll have to watch her closely.

Author‘s Note

If you’re reading this then I’m welcoming you to a new dark world where we explore the minds of complex and morally grey people. We’ll be able to see the world through other people’s lives— lives we will never be able to live and I’m pretty sure we DO NOT WANT TO!

The purpose of this book is for you to enjoy reading it!☺️

… and break your heart, make you scream at the main characters, don‘t understand what‘s going on and why you‘re still rooting for the “bad guy”, don’t know what man to fall for and be on your toes the whole time while going through an emotional rollercoaster.

In other words— I want to offer you guys a new perspective to life and maybe see yourself through the metaphors and overwhelming feelings i’ll write. Or maybe offer you a fantasy you can use as an escape from reality.

This book WILL be unhinged af. I’ll try to keep it realistic and not “oh sweet she’s the poor weak girl who can choose between hot dangerous psychopathic men!”

Also, if you don’t understand why specific characters act or think the way they do— just take a moment and look at the world. Don’t we all wonder why our parents treated us the way they did as children, why’d our bestfriend take their toxic ex back and why we aren’t capable of finally doing that one little thing we keep post-poning out of laziness?

Exactly.

Because that’s what humans are.

Unpredictable.

If you want cliche tropes, happy endings, short chapters and no actual psychological depth—then you’re wrong here. No fairytails. No Pity Parties, only the harsh truth and raw human emotions, thoughts & actions.

Call this book a psychological case study presented as entertainment.

Enjoy 😉
