Chapter 1 :Birth of a villain
A heavy grief weighed on him. Tears streamed down his face as his trembling hands slowly shattered the moon above him. He stared at the broken remains of his fallen planet-craters, burning surface, the echoes of a world lost-with eyes full of regret, anger, and pain.
He rose to his feet, voice cracking as he screamed:
"What was the use of all this power, huh? After years of serving you, fighting your battles... you let my planet fall. And now they're all gone!"
Tears glowed bright red, burning the ground beneath him.
"My family... my friends... my lover. All gone because of you! Why them? Why!"
The universe trembled. Stars flickered awake, trembling in response to his anguish.
Then, from the void, a single voice spoke-calm, ancient, terrifying in its depth:
"I am sorry for what has happened to your planet and your people. You have served me well. For that, you have my thanks. I will reward you accordingly."
The Creator's voice paralyzed him. He bit his tongue, forcing words out:
"Reward me by bringing them back. You can do anything. Don't you love them?"
The voice answered, steady yet distant:
"I love all my creations... every star and galaxy. But I placed a law: I never directly intervene in the wars of my creations. It is meant to protect you."
He shouted, broken:
"Protect us? You're all-powerful! All-seeing! Aren't you supposed to be perfect?"
The Creator's tone softened, almost human, almost wounded:
"I am not perfect. There is One who created me-far beyond my understanding. A being whose name is too great to speak. One who loved me and brought me into existence."
Shocked, he wiped his eyes.
"Then what are we... truly?"
"You," the voice said, "are my greatest imagination. Lives shaped and protected by both myself and my Father."
He laughed-wild, broken, teetering on madness. Raising his fist to the sky, he shouted:
"Then screw all of this! I'm done! If you won't save what I love, I'll become your enemy. I'll destroy everything you cherish and force you to recreate the universe-until my planet lives again!"
A single word echoed through space, shaking galaxies:
"What!"
"You heard me," he spat. "I'll force you to act."
Blood poured from his body-more than he had ever shed in millennia.
The Creator's voice returned, quiet, burdened with sorrow:
"Do you truly wish to walk this path?"
"I will walk it proudly," he replied, a trembling smile forming.
"...I see."
Silence swallowed the universe. His wounds slowly healed as the presence faded. He turned one last time toward the ashes of his world and whispered:
"Forgive me."
Then, faster than light, he shot forward, tearing open a portal-entering a new world.
His first victim.
