Fateful fate

Have you ever heard of mountains melting? They did when the ruthless female general of the Rising Phoenix kingdom let the first tear out of her eyes.

And for who? For a joke of a man, the useless prince of the Low Elf land.

What had led to these humorous yet heart-wrenching moment?

Then you need to know the stories of the Low Elf Land, Rising Phoenix Kingdom, the Snow demon Tribe and Red River Frontier.

Red River Frontier is the realm of humans where there is water, food, and life in abundance contrast to the Rising Phoenix Kingdom, ruled by immortals set in the harsh desert-like conditions. While the Low Elf Land had the mystical elves with mineral-filled swamp-like lands, Snow demons dwelled in the magnificent mountains in the north, covered in snow all the time.

Amidst all lies a naive elf crown prince, Raali, who is a namesake prince and doesn't know how to wield a sword or point a city correctly on the map. What he was good at was losing a leg on a good day and a head on a bad day.

At first, he was not the crown prince; he happened to fill the gap when his twin brother Ruli was taken as a war prisoner by the Snow demon tribe years ago.

After the Great War, which lasted for two hundred years, all four realms agreed not to interfere with each other's businesses except for actual business. Capitalism cannot be ignored, right? free markets, profits, wage labour, all that good stuff. Yet that night, Raali was stupid enough to let a scammer catch him and sell him to a brothel house in the Rising Phoenix kingdom.

What a shame for the lowlanders if anyone knew about this? Amendments were quickly made to return the stupid prince to the low-elf land.

And this is where the fateful fate started between Rising Phoenix's ruthless female general Sison and the lowlands' pitiful prince Raali.

"Low landers are said to be the longest living creatures, seems that's all a waste of life. How could a grown man be scammed and sold to a brothel house and needs 50 rising pheonix soldiers and a warrior general to escort him back home? This is the scandal of the century I am telling you" two gaurds on the side of the palanquin chuckled.

Their crooked teeth stopped showing as soon as they felt a burning gaze at them. From none other than the ruthless rising phoneix female general Sison. Like her name stone parsley, many believed her heart is made of stone too.

Not sure about her heart but her spear is made of nine gem red stone which can split mountains into half and normal people into pieces. To incur her wrath is equal to kissing goodbye for a lifetime of equity. It is brutal and painful.

And the guards got to witness it just now when her spear flew into the air and struck the heart of the mysterious desert snake demon. He fell to the ground and left a loud shriek which shook the grounds and the palanquin fell off the gaurds' hands.

As pale as a white lotus flower, emerged the pitiful prince of the low elf lands. He looked like a fish out of the water. As he saw the red blood of the desert demon he fainted at once.

A huge eye roll from the female general Sison is the que for gaurds to load him back into the palanquin and carry his pity self to back his more pitiful homeland.

The nightfall brought cooler winds to the harsh desert making the stout soldiers sleep like silly wallabies. Yet there is one person who cannot sleep at all thinking how his father would smack the heck out of him after the debacle he has caused. Atleast he can be proud that he hasn't lost his virginity yet.

Raali crawled out of the palanquin to take his first fresh breath of the day. He couldn't bear to come out of the palanquin all day imagining the mocking faces of the stout soldiers.

"Hmph" he sighed softly looking at the star studded sky. I am only hundered years old, how am I supposed to know when someone offers you a special shark blood wine, you shouldn't accept it!!" he kicked a stone nearby in frustration.

As fate has been wanting to take revenge on him for forever the stone landed straight on the stone hearted female general.
