Darkside of Poppy

"I am really enjoying the plot so far it's definitely darker than the original book Lone Dove which is equally as amazing. Have to say the personality change in each character is especially interesting since it seems Poppy is just as smart but less aware of some more dangerous scenarios but I could be wrong. While Maximus is definitely more quick to take action still in a kinda stupid way at times though. The story so far has darker undertones with more mentions of drugs and murder. The author's overall writing style is great and has a lot of attention to details. The plot is sometimes a little confusing with all that is happening but it still makes sense the further into it you get. "
