Summary

She noticed him long before he ever looked her way— the senior everyone admired, the one she admired a little differently. He walked with quiet confidence, while she carried his name softly in her heart, writing it into the pages of her diary as if ink could bring her closer to him. To him, she was just a familiar face in the hall. To her, he was the secret she never dared to speak.

Chapter 1 The First Time I Saw Him

April 2019.

The month everything quietly changed.

The night before returning to boarding school, I was lying on my bed watching To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. It instantly became my favourite series. I remember smiling to myself and wondering, “When will I get a crush on someone?”

With that thought, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, everything felt normal.

I packed my luggage, had breakfast, and then my mom, my sister, and our driver took me to the boarding school. It was a three-hour journey—nothing special, nothing different. I didn’t know that one small moment was waiting to change everything.

We reached, had lunch, and then finally entered the school campus.

It was time to say goodbye to my mom. After she left, all of us students headed toward a big hall where bag checking was going on—boys on one side, girls on the other.

I stood in line with my friend, talking casually…

and then I saw him.

For the very first time.

He was standing in the boys’ line, holding his bag, talking to his friend. I don’t know what happened to me, but something inside me just… stopped.

I looked at him.

Then again.

And again.

I couldn’t look away.

There was something about him—something I couldn’t explain, something that pulled me toward him without warning. I kept staring until my turn finally came for checking.

And the funny part?

I didn’t even know who he was—his name, his class, anything.

I wasn’t paying attention to other students, so even if he was an old student, I still wouldn’t have known.

That was the moment my story began.

The moment he entered my world without even knowing.
