The Trial Begins
They thought a camping trip would be fun - a break from the noise of the city. So, they set off for an abandoned forest far from civilization.
The deeper they drove, the quieter the world became. No signal. No people. Just trees that looked older than time itself.
But when they finally reached the turnoff to the campsite, the road was blocked.
A rusted gate. A warning sign, half-erased by time.
They should've turned back.
Instead, they took the only other path - a narrow, unmarked trail no one remembered seeing on the map.
The deeper they went, the darker the woods became.
And the forest... felt like it was watching.
Not long after they took the unfamiliar path, their car suddenly broke down - in the middle of the forest. Surrounded by towering trees and eerie silence, they were stuck... with no way forward and no turning back.
One of the friends stepped away to call for help, but there was no signal. No bars. No sound. Just the rustling of leaves that seemed a little too intentional.
Time passed. The sun had long disappeared behind thick clouds, and the weather had turned heavy, cold, and unnaturally dark - as if the forest was holding its breath.
They had already eaten their lunch on the road, and with no other choice, they decided to set up camp right there - in the heart of the unknown.
But something about the woods felt off.
Like they weren't alone.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, darkness began to creep in - slow, heavy, and suffocating. One by one, they pitched their tents, the fading light their only guide.
And as night finally fell... the forest swallowed everything in black.
"They thought the forest was empty.
But it was never empty, it was waiting."
