Hooked from Start to Finish
"Another amazing book. Short chapters, beautifully written, and fast-paced. I loved all the mystery and suspense, Lady Monroe’s wit, Terry’s courage and devotion, and Horacio’s intensity. The dynamics between Lady Monroe and her “men” were fantastic. I can’t emphasize enough how addicted I am to this series. Off to the next book!"
Not my favorite
"I think I should have stopped at book 3. It was going fine until I walked right into an unexpected harem. Given how book 3 ended where exclusivity seemed to be between Terry and Diana, it was disappointing to have to read about her kissing other men and taking more pets or reclaiming the old ones. Why then did she get married? Terry remains unchanged, always accepting of whatever she does, even when she doesn’t discuss it with him ahead of time. Wanting Horacio as a pet was just too random, and yet, he was ever willing to accept anything from his mistress. He’s like a sponge, he’ll soak up whatever Diana gives him. Which is good for them, I guess. After all, he’s her impressionable fool, a fitting title because he stays true to it. A fool 100%. The case about Marika and the others made for a good story & was the major reason I stayed until the end. Along the line, I stopped caring about Diana x Terry love life because nothing much seemed to have changed, even with her as a wife. This is the fourth book of a series, so make sure to read the other three books ahead of it, or this will make no sense. If you want: - short chapters - thriller/mystery - suspense - paranormal romance - dominant FMC Then this is a perfect read for you"
