When The Earth Woke Up
Five Million Years Ago
The planet Earth experienced its first mana surge when it awakened its consciousness.
It brought about the evolution of all humans,animals,plants,minerals,soil and other things which could absorb mana.
The strength and speed of humans increased 5-fold, they could now build faster and could move objects from one place to another easily.
The human race began to enjoy this new strength they had been given. Citizens could now become knights, thieves stole what they always wanted, bandits became bolder and even kings of each kingdom expanded their military power to wage wars and conquer other kingdoms and this was known as the
Awakened Age
Two Million Years Later
The world had only one super continent on which all human race lived on and it was called Pangea.
On Pangea, the human race had villages, towns and cities scattered throughout the entire continent on which lived peacefully with each other apart from having small skirmishes with bandits and thieves.
When one ruler thought what if I conquer the other cities and combined them with mine and with that I could have the riches, more women, more armies and whatever I wanted would be mine.
He kept thinking about this not knowing that he was not the only one who kept having these thoughts. Then it suddenly happened, no one knows when it happened and who initiated it but all the great cities started to fight against each other which began with small scale battles to a full blown war across Pangaea and this was known as The Collision Of Cities.
Few Years Later
The flames of war destroyed many villages and towns on Pangaea. The abled body men were all drafted to fight for their cities by force or threatening their families.
The corpses of soldiers and citizens stretch out for miles on the battlefield. The circling of crows and vultures in the sky waiting for their death to feast on their corpse reduced the confidence of soldiers and even generals.
On a hot afternoon on Pangea, everyone felt a wave of tremor across the entire planet. Every living creature froze as they looked In the sky with fear.
What they saw was unimaginable, the sky begun to split revealing an abyss in the once known sky.
These rifts appeared for exactly Seven days. Wars were put to a halt as humanity tried to figure out what these rifts were and why they had appeared.
Some people prayed in fear, some said it was a sign of destruction and many more spent time with their families, while others spent time with each other saying to themselves it was the last days on earth.
Suddenly, rainbow lights began to shine in these rifts then huge amounts of mana surged out of the rifts in a translucent wave of rainbow lights.
Living creatures of Pangea felt a strong a potent energy flowing through their bodies removing the present limit they thought they had on their bodies.
Those who had injuries, killer diseases, and even those who had lost a limb or two were instantly healed.
The mana surge lasted for three nights then the rifts in the sky disappeared.
An enormous quake struck through the super continent “Pangea”.Huge cracks started to appear on the continent.
These cracks moved slow throughout Pangea.
Panic and confusion spread across Pangea as people and animals tried to find a way to escape the cracks.Mountains and valleys, Cities and villages, Jungles and desert were swallowed up by the cracks.
A dark storm of clouds covered Pangea as the roar of thunder and the flashes of lighting kept striking the continent and with the howling of strong winds sent buildings, trees and living creature flying.
These disasters continued for about five hours causing the continent of Pangea to split into eight different parts as a results of the cracks and the waves of the tsunami occurring throughout the continent.
The reason all this happened was because the planet conscious was absorbing the mana and evolving the world so that it can produce its own mana.
This was known as the “Blessing And Disaster Of The Second Mana Surge "
Three Months Later
Humans and beasts found out that they could use powers beyond their comprehension.They divided these powers into three forms, namely;The physical, elemental and unique.
Some beasts evolved beyond their current forms.They grew in size,had sharper fangs and claws, enhanced senses and defense, increase in physical strength, speed and intelligence that were on par with humans.
Humans found out the danger of beasts when a komodo dragon, the size of a regular tiger with the ability to use poisonous breath wiped out a single village in one night without anyone surviving but this was not the only case of a beast attack on a human settlement.
The human race began to explore the ways to use their powers to defend and defeat these beasts.Overtime, hunting beasts became one of the best jobs to earns lots of money since the parts could be used to make a lot things.
Professions such as tailor, blacksmiths, and many more became famous over their use of each part of a beast.
The beast which could utilize mana were known as mana beasts.
The eight continents that were split off from Pangea, four drifted to each of the cardinal points which were inhabited by humans, one remained in the middle of the cardinal points, one drifted to the south-western and the location of the two remaining continents were never found as they were believed to have been destroyed.
