Summary

these poems are stitched from the moment i finally learned what love feels like. for years the words never came, not for anyone, not for anything . until i met the muse i call moon. every line is a piece of that light, every metaphor a reflection of how he pulled poetry out of a heart that swore it was done trying. these pages hold the first time i ever wrote about love, the first time i understood it, and the first time i let myself feel it.

Poetry 1

You pulled my hand, calm and slow,

the breeze was cool, the waves moved low.

i’d never been out that late before,

but with you by my side, i wanted more.

the sand was cold, but your touch was warm,

like even the wind couldn't do any harm.

you held my hands like you weren’t gonna leave,

like every second with me was something to keep.

i looked at you , your eyes caught mine

prettiest ones i’ve seen all my life.

the moon hit the water, everything felt still,

but nothing has ever compared to the way you made me feel.
