"I absolutely LOVE how chaotic the characters are. They are by far not perfect, their love isn't perfect, and that is what I love most about it. I love flawed characters. The story follows Coralie's POV the whole way (though I am hoping the sequel follows Daniel's too). A series of interesting and unique circumstances brings them together, and through these, they grow closer and their love slowly blossoms. It becomes apparent to us readers first, even before each of them realises it. It's a slow burn, tender at times, fierce at other times, frustrating too (because of their chaotic dynamic, but it's all in the best of ways), and sweet the whole way through. The side characters are just as important and lovable, from her dog, Rotie, to the man who is like an uncle to her now, Gomez. They play vital roles in the story's development, as do the new friends, and the new villains and rivals too. I found myself bouncing in my seat with excitement, shouting out my theories, laughing hysterically, getting misty-eyed, or waving my fist at some of the characters, in particular the villain of the story. Best of all, aside from the happy ending and the epic and unpredictable cliff hanger that leads into the announcement of Book 2, is it takes place in Quebec, my province. I love a good story that takes place here from a fellow Quebec writer. Another fantastic story by Dana Harrington. I very much look forward to Book 2."

"Such a good read. Classic romance novel with characters that have great chemistry. The main character Coralie has so much whit that perfectly pairs with Daniel’s more relaxed personality. The writing is great and you can definitely tell that this author put a great deal of work in making sure this story is cohesive."
