Chapter 1:The Beginning
Quedlinburg,a beautiful city filled with beauty,mystery and cultural treasure.In the corner of the city there lives a young girl.Her name is Ivy.She lives with her parents,Mr.Hendrickson and Mrs.Melinda.They are very caring toward Ivy.Ivy is a very energetic girl filled with imagination.she is also a very intelligent girl.Everyday she lives her carefree life untill one day her world became upside down.
It's 6am in the morning. As usual Ivy woke up early.Her parents are still asleep.As she woke up,she opened the window beside her bed.Fresh scent of the morning air. The beautiful meadow is filled with flower.It's spring now.
After refreshing herself,she went to the kitchen.Today she's gonna make fruhstuck. It's her daily routine.Mrs.Melinda woke up from the sound coming from the kitchen.She went to the kitchen and saw Ivy."your again up early.What are you making today?"said Mrs.Melinda.Looking at her mother Ivy smiled and said,"fruhstuck.Go fresh yourself and sit for a delicious breakfast".Mrs.Melinda gently touched Ivy's head and said,"You'r such a good girl".Knocking the door from behind Mr.Hendrickson said,"I smell something good.What's for breakfast today?""Fruhstuck.Come sit, it will take a minute".They are such a happy family.Ivy wished for this happiness to long forever.
After breakfast Mr.Hendrickson is now going to his office.He works in a traveling agency.Before going to work he kisses her wife in the forehead and hugs Ivy.He does that everyday.After her father went for his work,Ivy is going to the library.She works there as a part time worker.Mrs.Melinda is a housewife and she loves to look after her chickens.She's gonna clean her chicken coop today.
It is such a nice day.Ivy is going to the central library riding her bicycle. Many couples are out today.Ivy wished them luck from her heart.As she reached the library a girl rushed toward her with excitement. "Oh,you finally came.I have something a big news for you!"Looking at her Ivy asked," What's the big news Ava?"The girl's name was Ava. She is Ivy's best friend. They grew up together.
Ava: Remember last month?You applied for scholarship in the prestigious boarding school "The Glimmerwood Academy".
Ivy: Yes,I do remember applying in that academy. What happened?
Ava: Well,guess what?You got scholarship into that academy!Congratulations. Big clap for you my friend. I knew you can do it.
Ivy stood there shocked.She still couldn't believe that she got scholarship into that prestigious academy where only rich noble people’s kids goes.The prestigious Glimmerwood Academy. Every year only one person can get scholarship into that academy in the whole world.This year Ivy is chosen as a scholarship student. What awaits her next?
