Key Terms:
Nen is a person's life energy (aura) when used with intention.
Ren- The ability to activate your nen and release it. (release aura)
Zetsu- To hide your presence and conceal your nen. (contain aura within)
Ten- To focus your nen in a particular way. (control aura)
Hatsu- To harness nen in a way that it can attack or take action.
Bloodlust- a strong desire to fight/kill
This is a fanfiction based in the Hunter X Hunter universe. Only my OCs are mine. The story plotline is mine as well but the other characters and a few locations are not mine and rights belong Yoshihiro Togashi. It is written from different points of views primarily the FL and a few other characters that are created by Yoshihiro Togashi.

●Needle People: able to perform brainwashing on targets and turning them into permanent puppets

-Indoor Fish: conjures spiritual fish that can only exist in a sealed room and drains the life energy of targets within the confined space without raising awareness

-Black Voice: allows control over creatures using an antenna and a cell phone
-The Sun and Moon: Places explosive symbols on targets, can also activate after death
-Order Stamp: Can control corpses and puppets
-Gallery Fake: create copies of people or objects that can be manipulated with Order Stamp
-Convert Hands: can manipulate appearances on himself or others
-Lovely Ghostwriter: creates an accurate prediction of the future in the form of a poem

This story will take place nearly a year after Gon and Killua went to the World Tree (anime ending 2011). So the Dark Continent hasn't really been explored or covered much in the anime. I'm not covering any plot from the Hunter x Hunter storyline either and regardless what happens in the Succession Arc in the manga, most of the series main characters are alive in my book. I did light references to a few moments that happened in the series but not in details.
The quick run down for my storyline is that there is a family, Zarin Clan, that live on the Dark Continent who originated there. Something shifted resulting in Yukinaru to be sent to the Known World to reside and train. She is going to have her own experiences and along the way she will meet some of the Hunter x Hunter characters. The Zarin Clan are not human but still have some limitations.
Yukinaru's over all personality is random chaos, as best as I can describe it. She is intelligent and diligent but at times is also very childish. Yukinaru is a very unique individual with compassion and twisted views. She can be ignorant, stubborn and spends a great deal of effort suppressing herself.
She uses a mask or persona at most times. In the dark continent emotions can literally get you killed by some of the monsters that dwell there, that land is brutal and most inhabitants are human race ending threats.
When Yukinaru is on an assignment or physically engaged it's a completely different story as well. She is a cold blooded hunter and kills with accuracy and without restraint, she may not appear to be a threat but if she is pushed too far then the real threat level of a Dark Continent creature is known.
Also blood is a big part of her life and is a big source of her diet, basically think vampire traits. It connects her and others on a intensive level of bonding so to say. She doesn't have a human count of bodies (yet) but to her humans can be prey too. She views them indifferently with little regard, believing them to be of no threat. The humans live isolated and safely protected in Lake Mobius and to her they are mere newborns sheltered in a cradle.
The heavy adult chapters have symbols that to mark the spice and character involved. Illumi is really hard to set up for spice, next book there will be more but Illumi isn't a very emotional or romantic person and I do not want to alter his established personality.
