The snowball falls

“Did you hear Sourav insulted Raghav?”

That’s how it started.

A corridor.

Two kids bored out of their minds.

One sentence spoken because they had nothing better to do.

“What? When? He literally asked me for a copy five minutes ago.”

“Yeah. And he said Raghav copies everyone cool.”

“He SAID THAT?”

“Yeah. To me. Just now.”

The next group heard a different version:

“Sourav said Raghav copies EVERYONE alive.”

Next group:

“Sourav said Raghav is a stupid moron who copies everyone he sees.”

Next group:

“Sourav said Raghav’s whole BLOODLINE is full of idiots.”

By lunch break, people were looking at Sourav like he was radioactive.

Someone in the canteen quietly slid him less chutney.

He didn’t understand why.

By the end of the day, teachers heard the rumor too —

but their version was:

“Sourav threatened to harm Raghav.”

Perfect.

That’s all they needed.

NO THREATS allowed in this school.

Because rules are rules

and logic is optional.

Sourav didn’t even know any of this was happening.

Next morning, he entered school and instantly felt something was wrong.

People stared.

Whispered.

Avoided him.

Some smiled the “I know what you did” smile.

By third period, the principal called him in.

“Why would you threaten a student?”

“I didn’t threaten anyone.”

“Lying will make this worse.”

“I’m not lying.”

“Are you raising your voice at me?!”

“That’s it. Pack your bag.”

The guard literally walked him to the gate like he was being deported.

Fine.

New school.

Same Sourav.

Same face.

Same stupidity in the air.

And guess what?

The rumor FOLLOWED him — because someone had a cousin in that school.

And someone had a friend.

And someone had a group chat.

And someone needed entertainment.

Version 2.0:

“Sourav threatened to BURN Raghav.”

Version 3.0:

“Sourav threatened to burn the entire CLASS.”

Version 4.0:

“Sourav carries a KNIFE.”

Version 5.0:

“Sourav is dangerous.”

Version 6.0:

“Sourav needs therapy.”

Each school repeated the same cycle:

Rumor → Panic → Meeting → Security → Goodbye.

He was kicked out of three schools before he understood what was happening.

By the fourth school, he didn’t even bother explaining.

What was the point?

They had already decided who he was.

A villain created out of boredom.

Someone once said:

> “Rumors don’t need truth.

Just oxygen.”

By the fifth school, when the security dragged him out and screamed:

“HOW DARE YOU THREATEN STUDENTS!”

…Sourav didn’t react.

He walked out calmly.

In his mind, he imagined the entire school exploding behind him —

brick by brick —

shattering into dust.

Not because he was violent.

Not because he wanted revenge.

Just because explosions look cool when you walk away from them.

And honestly?

If lies can ruin his life for no reason,

he can at least enjoy the visual.

END.
