Where do we go after our last breath?
It was cold but also burning,the land what was once filled with snow now covered with smoke to the point where breathing felt like drowning.
People fell like they were apples on a tree.
A disaster is how the situation could be described.
A boy barely breathing but still hanging on that small bright hope he had left dragged himself through the burning field.
His face was burnt and tired,his coat was torn and his eyes were like he seen everything what haven't meant to be.
He dragged himself behind a house's wall pleading whatever being out there to save his life,to let him live.
The air cooled as the words left his mouth,it was like a harsh winter.
A spot on the grey sky opened revealing a blue circle.
A voice spoke to a boy,it was not human or animal but he could understand the words like he was talking to a human.
Something has heard him.
The being had no body but it's presence was felt in a form of feeling when someone wakes up in a sunny winter morning
"If I do save you there would be no point,your body can be saved but not your soul"
The being said in a tone with no emotion.
"Then save whatever you can with that part of me"
The boy was scared but felt calm as if comforted by the thought of being heard.
"Very well"
"But I have a question"
The boy was curious
"If you can't help why did you responded?"
"Because no higher being would save a life instead of hunderds"
The boy lowered his head,no words came out of his mouth,he just stared at his own body before his last breath came out of his mouth.
