Bab.1 RECKLESS
“Hey, you. Yes, you—the one reading this.
Let me ask you something: are you brave enough to fall in love?
But this isn’t ordinary love…
This is the kind of love that drags you through blood, fear, courage, and sacrifices you never knew you were capable of.
In this world, hearts shatter, brothers can turn into enemies, and the people you trust may become the very danger that destroys you.
Every choice drags you toward a different cliff edge—
and no one, absolutely no one, walks away without scars.
If you’re ready, I’ll take you into a story where love isn’t just a feeling…
It’s survival.
So tell me—
are you brave enough to follow me?”
.
.
.
.
“Not every story begins with a smile.
Some are born from ruin—from flames that devour families, love that stabs from behind, and blood spilled between siblings and sworn enemies.
This is a world where love doesn’t always save you,
and where a brother can become the cleverest villain.
Two gangs hunt each other down.
Two hearts fall into the same abyss.
Two generations inherit wounds that never heal.
This isn’t only the story of Cheiryl, Leo, or Arsel.
It’s about those who live in the shadows of their choices—
and those who die because of them.
Behind the roar of engines, the echo of gunshots, and the weight of tears,
lies a promise left unfulfilled.
In the world of Reckless, the survivors aren’t the strongest.
They’re the ones who still manage to love…
even after being destroyed again and again.”

“Cheiryl Marchella Al-Reinra… your foster father is now the student council president,”
the principal said firmly.
Cheiryl’s eyes widened.
A month in this school, and suddenly she was the new president.
“But why me, Sir? There are plenty of other students.”
“None of them are as bold as you. Look at the previous president—he quit because that delinquent gang kept threatening him. I believe you can handle them.”
Everyone knew who he meant:
Arogas Gang, the most feared group in school.
They skipped classes, caused chaos, and threatened anyone who tried to discipline them—including the last president.
Cheiryl shook her head.
All she wanted was peace.
“Sorry, Sir. I don’t want trouble with that gang.”
“Come on, Cheiryl. You’re the only one who can help me… help the teachers too.”
The principal looked desperate.
Annoying, she thought.
Then an idea hit her.
“Fine, I’ll accept. But only if you give me five hundred thousand.”
She extended her hand.
“Good grief… kids these days.”
The principal sighed, opened his wallet, and handed her five red bills.
Cheiryl counted them, satisfied, then slipped them into her pocket.
“Not corruption money, right?” she asked with a threatening stare.
“Of course not. That’s my salary.”
“Good. I’ll use it for snacks.”
“So you’re the student council president now. Your job is to discipline them.”
“Yeah… when I’m in the mood.”
The principal glared.
He’d just given half his salary to this kid, and she would only work when she ‘felt like it.’
“I’m going to the cafeteria now. Better than punishing someone who might not even be guilty.”
“HE IS GUILTY!”
the principal yelled behind her.
“Not my problem, old man! How can an adult be scared of teenagers?”
Cheiryl waved him off and headed to the cafeteria—
five hundred thousand richer.
——————RECKLESS——————
At the cafeteria…
She spotted her friends—two boys, two girls—and sat beside Haura Azalea, the short-haired girl obsessed with “sin-repent-sin again” drama films.
“Where were you?” asked Lisa Avva Delisha, long-haired K-pop addict.
“Principal’s office,” Cheiryl replied.
“What did you do? Get in trouble?” asked Bagaskara, the only normal one who happened to enjoy teasing Haura.
“Nope. I got promoted. I’m the new student council president.”
Everyone froze.
“You? President? Quit lying.” Arga, her playboy cousin, squinted.
Cheiryl took out the five bills.
“Here’s proof. I extorted the principal first, then said yes.”
Lisa’s jaw dropped.
“You actually extorted the principal?!”
“You’re president now, Chei. Be careful with them.”
Haura pointed discreetly at Arogas Gang.
“Yeah, I know. He said I’m supposed to punish them.”
Her food arrived.
As she prepared to eat, Haura tapped her shoulder again.
“What now?” Cheiryl snapped.
“Arogas Gang is leaving. They’re totally going to skip class again.”
“And? I’m hungry. Let me eat!”
“Chei, it’s your job as president,” Lisa reminded.
Cheiryl sighed deeply, staring at her meatballs.
“Then what am I supposed to do?”
“Stop them, duh.”
Arga stole her spoon and took a bite.
“You little—!” Cheiryl glared.
“We’re family. Sharing is caring.”
“You never share your food with me, asshole.”
She snatched her spoon back.
“Let me eat first. I need energy to punish them.”
——————RECKLESS——————
Meanwhile…
Arogas Gang walked down the hallway toward the parking lot—ready to ditch class again.
A male student accidentally bumped into Leo.
In an instant, Leo’s fury exploded.
“The hell do you think you’re doing?”
He shoved the boy against the wall.
“S-sorry… I didn’t mean to…”
“ARE YOU LOOKING FOR DEATH?”
Leo roared.
“Do you know who I am?”
“T-the leader of Arogas…” the boy trembled.
“Then you know the punishment for touching me.”
Everyone knew the truth:
Dealing with Arogas was walking straight into hell.
Boys got beaten bloody.
Girls… became toys.
Razkal, the vice leader, tapped Leo’s shoulder.
“Later. We’re in a hurry.”
Leo clicked his tongue.
He had a race against another gang.
“Fine. Run while you can. Next time, you’re dead.”
The boy bolted.
Arogas Gang had six members:
Leo, Razkal, Bima, Rico, Rio, and Rido.
“Damn, Leo,” Rido muttered.
“I’m gonna fuck someone again tonight,” Bima said casually.
Rido’s eyes widened.
“Didn’t you already do it in the warehouse?”
“Not enough. I’ve got plenty more to release.”
Razkal clicked his tongue.
“You’re a damn animal.”
