The Friend Who Stayed Only in Memories
"Noor and Eman met in school. Noor was 13 and Eman 14. From the very first meeting, Noor liked Eman, but the friendship was one-sided. A year later, Noor confessed her feelings, but Eman rejected her.
Still, Noor tried to keep their friendship alive. Life at home was hard for her, and Eman, haunted by her own past, kept her distance. Slowly, their bond grew through little jokes and shared moments, but Eman would ignore Noor over small mistakes, leaving Noor hurt every time.
A year passed, and Eman went abroad for studies. Noor waited, replied to every message, and hoped for her return. But when Eman came back, she left her old best friend behind to be with other friends. Gathering all her courage, Noor poured her heart out once more, but Eman only said: “Enjoy your life. Goodbye.”
Noor realized that the one she had given her love and friendship to had only caused her pain. Yet, she decided to hold herself together, treasure the memories, and move forward.
In the end, she understood: “Some people come into our lives only to leave us with beautiful memories, and nothing more.”
And finally, both of them were happy in their own lives, each finding peace in their own way.
