A flower's requiem
I came to life oblivious of the world, like a tiny white rose.I was met with ugliness and lies, and neither of those I ever chose. As I grew up, I shape-shifted into many forms to adapt myself to my reality. My aura, once so giving and full of love, was forced to feel such agony.
No matter the intensity of the pain, I was born a lily of the valley.I won’t wither to a chrysanthemum or a carnation as my grand finale.I believe to be a unique breed with various petals. To fully throw me to hell and despair, it would take a thousand levels.
One day I can morph into a beautiful oleanderJust to remind you I should not be met with foolishness, triggering my anger.I can be both a marigold and a violet.Don’t betray me, or the aconite in me you wish you never met
