Today was a mess

Today was a mess. Not an ordinary mess, but a chaos that made you feel

adrift, like someone who cannot solve a math equation. I know when order loves to pretend he is disorder this is not An important man had retired or some said he was fired. The events that followed were impossible to judge: was it the smell of fire or a grave mistake

I was informed yesterday that tomorrow there would be a gathering of the big bosses, but really not important who would decide a very important decision, but likely not a good one. It seemed they wanted to change everything.

When I arrived today, the whole workplace seemed on the verge of collapse, as if our bodies had been soaked in fuel, with the faint acrid smell of smoke lingering in the air. My thoughts raced walking a path of my servitude, or was it just the way to my office wondering if the fire could actually harm anyone.

The service office was strange. Nobody seemed to care. After a few moments, I noticed HR was absent. I asked a friendly janitor who works here, and he said the person responsible for HR had quit, and all his work had vanished. He was the only one who had the copies of workers contracts, and had other things that maybe important though no one seemed to know.

I said, “Not a big problem, they’ll get someone.” But then I wondered why is no one working today

I continued to my office, and on the way I noticed that no accountant was present only me. That made me uneasy. What is happening

I tried to ignore it. Maybe everyone was sick, maybe anything normal But today didn’t want to be normal . Nothing could make me feel that today was ordinary.

I opened my computer, the system start. but The screen froze on the loading circle , spinning like a thought. Same result. I checked the phones no dial tone.

I walked to the finance room. The door was open, but inside everything was malfunctioning printers, lights, and otherthings

This can’t all be because one man Even if he was important

I stepped outside, into the street. Crossing the unusually no traffic road almost no traffic

I heard two chatting

say:

“It can’t be are you sure?”

The other replied:

“Yes, I’m sure. The bank has declared it cannot pay its clients. It’s bankrupt. And another, notso important bank in the country, has declared bankruptcy too. Some just closed directly with shame.”

I kept walking, hoping to find real answers.

It felt like the collapse of a nation. Thinking everything was falling apart, I realized

I was malfunctioning iam also

when Just realized , only realized. A relaxation without outcome, no though

this how after i go walke to my home

That night, I faced myself in the mirror and said to the possiblty reflection:

“No, not a collapse. It’s just a little disorder. Get used to it
