Summary

"In a world where the Arcana of the tarot have life and kingdoms of their own, the feminine cards were silenced, forgotten, and destroyed. Justice left behind a prophecy—she vowed with her soul and her blood that the Arcanas would be reborn, one by one, and rise to rule again. Elaris has stepped into the heart of an injustice—one of those that ignite a fierce, uncontrollable anger inside her. This will lead her to work side by side with her Arcano sovereign, the Judgment. A man of implacable appearance and severe ruling. Yet the connection that sparks between them makes her wonder if perhaps he isn’t as cruel as everyone claims."

The end and the beginning

THE END AND THE BEGINNING

They say destiny is not written in ink, but in symbols. And in this world, those symbols burn, blaze, and rule.

Centuries ago, when the first Arcana rose from the shadows of chaos, reality bent beneath the weight of its power. One by one, the twenty-two Major Arcana took shape—not as mere cards sketched by human hands, but as living entities, bearers of order, change, destruction, and redemption.

They shaped the realms. They decided the laws.

In the darkest years of the pact, the feminine cards were silenced.

Justice was condemned for questioning the very laws she had helped create. Death was sealed away for bringing truths no one was ready to face. The Moon was accused of driving mad those who dared dream of freedom. The Star, of inspiring rebellion in the youngest hearts. The Empress, of wanting to rule without permission. And the High Priestess, of keeping secrets the Priest feared.

One by one, they were stripped of their names, cast into oblivion, turned into myths, heresies, or threats.

But destiny does not forget. And time, like the tarot, always turns.

For a long age, the Arcana coexisted in fragile balance, bound only by a tacit pact: that no kingdom would impose its vision upon another. But every pact is a rope pulled taut, and time has sharpened its ends.

Now, the realms prepare for war.

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...
