The Rain Fairy Grows on Me
"I didn’t expect Manú to get under my skin the way it did. I picked it up thinking it would be a nostalgic story about childhood, but it quickly became something much deeper and stranger—in the best possible way. The voice feels intimate and honest, full of small, precise details that made me remember things I hadn’t thought about in some years: the weight of summer heat, the unspoken hierarchies between children, the way imagination can feel more solid than the world adults insist is “real.” Manú herself is immediately recognizable—not because she’s loud or exceptional, but because she’s observant, stubborn in quiet ways, and deeply loyal to what feels true to her."
Cool story!
"Great story, gives me steam punk vibes. Like for the references, hope they continue. Waiting for the cats tk show up. I love the cover, looks mysterious and it makes me curious on what follows. I know some info about the myth of iele, they were a mix between witches and fairies, and all the grandparents had many stories about them!"
