Love the protagonist!

"Elara is a ball of sass, and she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. I like that she doesn’t define herself by her appearance (good or bad) and her attitude doesn’t seem to change when she brushes her teeth for the first time in years (I’m totally lying idk how long it’s been but it’s hilarious.) Her circumstances definitely put her in a tough spot, but it seems like it’s not as bad as it could be. Adrian seems sweet, and definitely misunderstood. I have a feeling based on the first couple chapters (that’s all that’s released at this time but I’ll update as I go) that he doesn’t want to hurt her, and the darkness of the story comes from them inheriting the consequences of their parent’s sins. I definitely enjoyed what I’ve read so far, and as the little weirdo I am, I can’t wait to see the dark side of this fantasy. Give me all the trigger warnings!"
