Chapter 1-the surface

Chapter I -the surface

My name is Tomoko Rui, for the past 15 years i've never truely seen the world as more than nothing, they're never human enough as human should be, such as im not enough human enough as i should be. I stopped talking when i was 6 ,i didnt want anything with the outside world. Mother used to care for me deeply, she always was there for me, patient, in the days i forgot to eat she'd remind me .As for the other episode of days she'd question me "Tell me Rui dear, why is it you never come out of your room?" and i never understood why she would ask me that. I washed, swept and cleaned, always did my fair share of chores as a human should. And i never answered her question, i just nodded and went with my routine, with the same lifestyle as before. I wish i could have answered mother ,now i can only ask ,as i watch the eternal bed she lays on,always covered in freshly born flowers.i cant see,i cant hear or smell her sweet scent anymore.i can only talk to her and get no answer as my tears wet the cold stone and the flowers i just bought. Maybe this is what human feels like, grieving over someone you loved but never cherished for when they were here. Now i see how mother felt, when she'd ask and i wouldnt answer her. When mother died i moved with my father,he was absent most of the time cause of work, whenever i'd get home from school i'd find the cold food laying on the table, atleast he tried ,thats what human does. As for my student years ,they were never more than normal and bland. No one ever talked to me,neither do i ever speak, even when im called on during class for them to get an answer out of me. Every report from the scool was the same description : a dissconected kid, with great knowledge, too distracted from what the real world means. I dont know what the real world means, i know its a harsh place ,filled with animals that can't control themselves ,the real world is cruel and bitter, people are cold, but thats what human must be like. I've seen it before, when they hit and bruise me over and over, repeating the same words like a mantra, as if im a looser, a quiet freak,a weirdo, in theyre eyes I'll always be useless, I guess the human code detected me as the error that they should get rid of. the error that isn't competent enough to conform to the terms and conditions the real world has.

Gallandro7: I originally added this because it looked interesting and I was curious how the mate process would go. I almost removed it due to several other books ahead of it, but I took an afternoon and read the entire thing in one go.I was pleasantly surprised at how well the book was crafted and that the mate...

Silver's Second Chance

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
