PART I: Chapter 1
-Unconclusive endings are claimed to exist, therefore beginnings are created...
Even as a paranormal investigator, Auriel never believed in superstitions such as ghosts, spirits, etc... One of the reasons for this was that, she was a Science student who was only raised to believe in Reasons that define 'A Proof'. Until today, she solved a lot of cases, but Ghostship was never implicated in any of them. Infact, she claims it was all a mental game. But one day, she stumbled across, 'A Case' which ended it all.
Auriel only had a younger sister named 'Nancy' who was in her teenage years, under the name of her family. When Auriel went out for a case one night, Nancy did something.... Nancy was preparing to play a game called 'The Bloody Mary,' which she was discussing with her pals. All alone at home with no one else around at 2:30 am. She took some candles, lit them, turned off all the lights in her bedroom; rather than inside her washroom. She was a little out of it, but she was still too eager to do it... The process should be completed between 2:30 to 3:30 a.m., it was around 2:50 a.m. when Auriel arrived... Nancy was standing in front of the mirror with a candle lit, all surrounded by cold waves of air... The entire House was too dark... She was contended with all goosebumps onto her skin, she started sweating and yelled her name for the first time; freezed for a moment. Nancy was startled, still proceeded for the second, when the very moment the candles' flame started flickering. The aura there was steadily creeping up on... Whereby Auriel arrived just as Nancy was about to call the name for the third time... Nancy was flabbergasted. When the conversation heated in,
"What are you doing, Nancy?"
"Oh, Sister, you freaked me out! Nothing much, was trying the game known as, The Bloody Mary."
“So, when did you begin to believe in things like this, hmm?It's late, you should go to bed, there's nothing like supernatural, okay?! Just leave it."
"Alright sister!"
Nancy then winded up the stuff and went to sleep... While she was winding up, Auriel actually sensed like something is wrong near the mirror, so she went there and carefully touched it while paying close attention... She was feeling something but there was nothing before her eyes, strangely... Auriel then went back in the living room to eat something...
After a while, Nancy was deep asleep. Suddenly she was half-awaken, still asleep but awake. Wherein she was sleep-walking or was under the control of someone... Out of bed, walking toward the mirror she came to a momentary pause. Half-asleep, she stood in front of the mirror and whispered, "Bloody Mary,". Nancy opened her eyes, right infront of the mirror, which was completely coated with fresh black dust on itself. Nancy was flabbergasted. Meanwhile, Auriel just finished her food but, while cleaning the dishes she went to check on her sister just because she felt something wrong. In Nancy’s room suddenly a woman in black appeared, with red almond eyes, a creepy tone smile, and eerily scarce hair flying in the air. Looking at her Nancy screamed out of fear, whereby the woman screamed her name and through Nancy's mouth, she possessed her entire body by entering inside... When Auriel arrived in Nancy's room, everything was messed and found Nancy unconscious...
Auriel called 'Father Brucke' who were also like a Guardian to Auriel and took Nancy to the hospital. When he came, he noticed an upside-down Cross (an apposite-side cross) on Nancy's neck. After looking at Nancy, the Father was convinced that Nancy was possessed. Auriel told Father about what happened before bed; making Father wonder that if this little game was the only reason for Nancy's current state... So he told Auriel that her teenage sister was possessed but Auriel did not trusted it completely. She called her team as a 'Paranormal Investigator' just to make sure... Then Nancy was accompanied by a nun from the church. It's already 5:00 a.m. whereby 5 of Auriel's teammates, as well as Father Brucke, accompanied Auriel to her home... Her home was full with gloom and melancholia. While things were being investigated for ghost, Auriel took Father Brucke towards that mirror... He felt something, so he stepped ahead near the mirror, "I knew it, its not the Bloody Mary..." he said after staring at himself in the mirror for straight 2 minutes.
Father Brucke suddenly grabbed a bottle of Holy Water and began throwing it in drops everywhere including on the mirror. Began to recite biblical verses. For the next few minutes, everything was normal. Until the Mirror unexpectedly shattered... One of the shards of broken glass landed inappropriately on and inside Father Brucke's hand, the same hand in which he helded the Holy Water... When the mirror's fragment scratched his hand to bleed, instead of red blood it was black. Numerous drips of drops dripping down forming an upside-down Cross with a Devil's Sign... Everyone there were completely speechless and startled. Whereby Auriel said, "So, it was for Real!"
Looking at Auriel, Father Brucke had a gleam in his eye. When it came to their knowledge that it was the continuation of the Case, for which Auriel went out last night....
