Prologue
What if, in life we are thrown directly at a multitude of choices to make from our early age. It starts with what second language would you like to learn, then what kind of major would you like to take in high school. Afterwards the immense decision of which university would you like to apply. But as you grow older, you start to ask yourself the “what if” questions. What if you studied economics instead of biology. What if the first person you spoke to in that introduction lecture was someone else. What if you’ve never met that person... would your life be different ? What if your past self made another choice, would you be there today ?
That is what I am often asking myself after I decided to confront my best friend and express my feelings for him. What if I have never told him. Would we be in that situation now?
