Into the Void- a book of dark poetry

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

I’ll keep it simple, this is a book of poetry that tends to be rather intense in nature. To be honest it all started off by me writing vent poems. But then I realized, maybe my writing can help some people out there like me. This book explores serious topics like suicidal thoughts, self harm, eating disorders, grief, and other issues of that nature. With this book, I want to destigmatize mental health issues and share some wisdom on how I got through darkest times of my life. I do not promote anything negative, I’m just trying to raise awareness and help people who might be feeling how I felt.

Chapter 1-The Weeping Angel

Darkness spread out before her. She knelt on the ashes of heaven. It was obvious now, god was either dead or had abandoned everyone. Two big holes sat in her back where her wings used to be. They were ripped out my demons. She knew she could heal herself over time. She knew she could stand up and fight the demons. All her life she had been taught that light will always conquer darkness. That no matter how many demons there were, angels were stronger. But these demons were different than those she had faced in the past. Bigger, faster, terrifying. And there was no support from God. In this moment of utter despair and hopelessness she knew she stood at a cross roads. She could either stay on the ground and allow the demons to kill her. Or she could rise and fight again. Take her sword back into hand and do her best to slay the demons. Her survival wasn’t guaranteed, but there was a chance. Her family was somewhere else, fighting as well. A spark ignited in her heart. Tiny. Feeble. She opened her eyes, tears flowing from them. She rose her head to look at the demon. Terror struck her. But she didn’t collapse back down. She grit her teeth and reached for her sword. A voice rang in her mind, strong and confident. Fight! It said. So she got to her feet. The demons laughed. Her eyes glowed bright blue. The demons glew red. She lunged at the demon.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
