Chapter 1
Once there was a boy named Rohan. His school had arranged a picnic to an old museum. Inside the museum, there was a strange painting. Every time Rohan looked at it, he felt as if the woman inside the painting was calling out to him.
He ignored the strange feeling and continued exploring the museum with his friends. After some time, everyone decided to play hide and seek.
Rohan found a spot under an old wooden table. It was such a good hiding place that no one could find him. His friends thought Rohan had already gone back to the bus, so by mistake they sat in the other bus and left.
The school bus left…
But Rohan was still sleeping under the table.
🌙 The Night Begins
Late at night, Rohan woke up because of a strange sound.
The whole museum was dark… quiet… and terrifying.
Frightened, he went towards the main gate, but it was locked.
Suddenly, the lights went out. His heartbeat raced.
He hid behind a pillar.
That’s when he saw it—
A faint light coming from the same painting.
And then…
The woman from inside the painting came out.
Rohan screamed.
The woman smiled and said softly:
“Rohan… where were you for so long?”
She started walking towards him.
Rohan ran, but the museum was confusing and creepy.
He kept slipping and falling.
All the gates were locked.
Then he found one open window…
But right there, the woman appeared again.
She said in a calm voice:
“Come to me, Rohan. I won’t hurt you.”
Rohan started crying:
“Please let me go! I’m scared!”
Her voice suddenly turned darker:
“I will never let you go… I worked very hard to reach you.”
👁️ The First Truth
The woman stepped back a little.
Rohan could now clearly see the background behind her.
There…
His dead brother was standing.
In the same position as when he had died by suicide.
His brother had died one year ago.
The lights came on again, and Rohan finally saw the woman’s face clearly—
It was his Aunty,
who had died on the same day as his brother.
Rohan panicked and ran.
👻 The Accusation
He stopped in the middle of the hall.
Suddenly, his Aunty and brother appeared again.
They glared at him and said:
“Because of you, we died! It was your fault!”
Both of them moved toward him…
ready to hurt him.
✨ The Real Protector
At that moment, a bright light shone behind him.
The painting woman appeared again—
but this time her face was kind, peaceful.
She was the true Good Woman.
She stood in front of Rohan, protecting him.
Seeing her, the evil spirits of his Aunt and brother growled in anger and vanished.
Rohan fainted.
🌅 Morning Truth
When Rohan opened his eyes, it was morning.
His mother, father, the police, and his school principal were around him.
They hugged him, crying with relief.
Rohan thought maybe everything had just been a nightmare…
But then he looked at the museum wall—
The Good Woman’s painting had disappeared.
And he realized:
Everything that happened last night… was real.
