Chapter 1
FROM HERE CHAP-1 BEGINS…
(The story begins when, after the extra classes end, Aira — the main character — a few seniors, and some of her classmates are returning to their houses. As they live in the same area, they are going on the same path.)
All the way I was alone. I never thought that someone would be with me. Everyone is walking with me, but still, this evening too is silent. Huh! It was my extra classes. I left school at 5 p.m. The evening is very beautiful, but not my life. I am just a 16 year old girl and I am in class 11th B right now walking in the streets... but I just want something crazy. Let it be.
Suddenly a senior said, “Hey Aira!” and then another senior murmured in his ears, “Hey, don’t tell her,” and then said to me, “It’s not that important, you carry on.” Although I was able to hear his murmur. Like this, everyone hides their secrets from me.I have zero friends left with me for some reason . I want something new in life.Maybe a friend or someone who truly cares about me ,who i can trust .His classmate said, “Guyzz, see the man is coming to us, right?” Everyone’s attention and eyes were on that man. Tanya said, “He is looking needy and poor. His looks are pale.”
Then Aira answered, “Yahh, who is he? Does anyone know him
HERE…..(Well for ease and description i am describing the names of the fellow schoolmates,no need to worry and to learn their names they are just side characters. Names of two seniors — Tanya and Aryan; classmates — Krish, Som, and Namrita.they are just fellow schoolmates no need to learn their names)
And now the man was in front of us. He asked and said, “I am Bhavishya. I live alone here. I am a student. I have to arrange the furniture in my new house. Could you guyss please help me?”
All of them said, “Yess, we can, we are free.” But the man was looking suspicious. I observed him deeply. He was very skinny, he had dark circles, a creepy face, and a scary smile. His eyes were light blue, which was terrifying for me. His clothes were a little dusty and had some blood stains — that I noticed.some little injury on his fingers so i think the blood stain would be about that injury and yes I don’t want to go back home and live my boring life so think I should help him and also because everyone agreed so I decided to help.
(We entered his house. I was really surprised. His house was too big, but he was a single person living there. His house was dusty... I guess he was unable to clean. I think his house would be about 100 square yards. I was suspicious — he had a big house, but he didn’t seem rich.)
Now we all had entered the room where we had to help him. I saw the room and... damn, the girl was—
Bhavishya said, “The bed, and some tables, and some other furniture — I have to arrange these.” Everyone was busy talking, but I was terrified after observing him and his house. I was observing the girl — she was about 5 years old.
Suddenly, the man came up behind me and murmured in my ears, “She is my sister.”
But I knew she was not. Beca! Beca! Because she was my sister!
I think he is a kidnapper, but he can’t kidnap us — we are enough to fight him. I just don’t know what’s happening here. I didn’t say anything to him even after knowing.
We all helped him. Everything was arranged now. The man was offering us a glass of juice. He was in the kitchen. My sister was distributing glasses of juice. But I don’t know what the man said to her so that she was following his orders. Why??
Without coming into someone’s eyes, I threw the juice in the pot beside me. Now I murmured in my sister’s eyes (to check whether he mixed something or not). My sister had a tray with cookies in it and she answered me “no” in sign language.
I decided to save my sister. I will find some way. I can fight him. I knew self-defense. I think he didn’t mix something in our food, as he is kidnapping little girls just for money maybe. All he can do with his skinny body is this. I can’t let him kidnap my little sister.
---
(A couple of hours had passed.)
I opened my eyes. For a few seconds, it was all blurry in front of my eyes, but then I realized we were unconscious all of the time after the food. No one was in the room, no chairs, no furniture. The room was fully empty — maybe we were in another room.
Every one of us was tied up with ropes tightly on a chair. My legs... my hands... all I know is we are trapped.
“Where is my sister?” I cried.
“So you got it. Oh woww! Amazing! Someone is going to be killed,” said Bhavishya (the creepy man) in a horrifying voice.
“I figured out she is your sister. Not only you, but I was too observing you. And now this will be your last happy day.”
And after saying this all, he started laughing loudly in a scary way. It terrified me, but I couldn’t give up.
I answered him, “There was no happiness in my life, not any good day. Maybe it’s my fate to be alone. So I will kill you and will save my sister. I will not let you harm anyone.”
Bhavishya said, “You are crazy. See the room perfectly, you will be able to figure out what I can do. Also, you have nothing to harm me... hahahaha.”
Now after hearing him, I looked here and there. I was totally shocked — there were fresh body parts arranged like decoration materials. Damn! There were eyes, lips, teeth, hands, fingers, and worse body parts. It was totally disgusting. The smell of those... I hadn’t thought he would be a person like this.
I’m really scared of what he will do with me. Now I am really worried. Suddenly the killer plays horrifying music outside. Everyone was still unconscious except the killer and me because I had only drunk juice, but they had eaten the cookies too.
Now the killer starts saying, “See, don’t worry, I am not gonna harm you until everyone comes — until everyone comes to their senses. So you have a few minutes to plan.”
Now I am thinking that he is right. I have time, I can’t waste it. Let me do something.
My eyes fell on Krish’s hand — he was tied up next to me. There was a sharp bracelet (kada). I just moved my hand somehow and took that bracelet, then opened my hands by cutting the ropes from that bracelet, and then my legs, and finally my waist.
I was feeling free now, but all the background voices and those creepy organs and dead bodies in the room were really haunting me too much. But a worse thing was that there were no lights — I could see things but in a blur view, like you can understand.
The room where we were trapped was not completely built. It was just plastered with cement, which was quite rough. Two of the walls were made of bricks, which looked quite scary. I felt like the room was left like that to make a vibe of torture.
Whatever, now I was free, so I took a step forward to execute a plan. But when I stepped on the floor, it was really nauseating — there was blood almost everywhere on the floor and pieces of human body flesh there... yuk!
But ignoring the situation, I stepped forward. Still, the others were unconscious. I just turned my eyes and saw our bags were hanging on hangers. I took a water bottle and sprinkled some water on others’ faces, also tried to wake them up. But it didn’t work, so I moved to find something to fight.
I was lucky. I got Milton bottles. I had some pins in my bag for a project, but now for my plan — a compass, a few pens. Now I was thinking that the killer must have some harmful weapons, so I just threw everything from the bag and hung it on my back and one on my front.
As the killer said he will kill me and my sister, I am not going to think about these. Also, I don’t care — they never treated me even as a good friend, huh. And secondly, I am not a good soul.
Then Aira arranged the pins on the gate, then kept some sharp pens and a cutter in her pocket. She searched for more in the left bags and got a pepper spray bottle. At the end, she kept one bottle in her hand and others in the room here and there so that while fighting, she could get them easily.
“Bravo! I got nice stuff.”
All of a sudden, the killer opened the door. The door made a weird sound like a horror movie, and all the sharp pins from the door fell on the killer. Some of the pins went into his mouth as he was murmuring something.
But he smiled even after this. It all happened in between, and I cried after I saw him. I can’t tell in which state I was, what I was going through. I forgot my plan, and my body was shaking. I was taking my step backward.Because of my scream, everyone woke up. Still, his smile was haunting me, and there was only regret and a question — why didn’t I open the hands of others? They could help me... and where is my sister?
I had walked that far backward that I was at the end of the room, at the centre of the room others were all trapped. Bhavishya asked them would you like to escape or save that girl.no one answered because everyone was scared and confused .they all were confused because for them they came here to help me but now they are trapped in a creepy and scaring room with blood and flesh, also Bhavishya is in front of them with a deadly smile scars, blood, pins on the body and an axe on his hand only.
At that sudden moment Naamrita didi said I wanna escape, leave me please, I wo...w..won’t tell anyone about you. After her everyone started saying the same, there was a fear in their eyes ,I can clearly see that. Bhavishya started laughing again in an inappropriate way-hahahahahahhahhh and said ok so became free from me. Then he started stepping toward , everyone was just watching him they were tensed ,tears came into Tanya and Aryans eyes ,they were helpless and tied with the rope he suddenly stood in front of them all and then took out several injections from his pocket and injected them into everyone’s bodies.no one made any noise their eyes were telling their pain and fear. I was sitting in the corner of the room and watching all that I had planned ,but after seeing the scary mess I had lost my consciousness.
now Bhavisyha opened everyone’s hands and ordered them to leave ,no one dare to stand .Bhavishya again screams I said leave the room .Quietly and gradually everyone stand up ,No one thought about their essentials ,they just start walking toward the gate one by one everyone left the room there was only me .Suddenly a thrilling scream of them came ,I don’t know what they saw ,and I can’t stand to see them because Bhavishya was there in the dark room. After they left ,it was only me and Bhavishya in the room.my eyes were on the floor and he was continuously staring at me. Now I was thinking it was my last day.Bhavishya had already said that he had made me and my sister his victims for today’s torcher .What do I have? some pens, some bags, cutters and bottles...is it really gonna work against his sharp axe .I don’t care about my life ,but my sister is only 5.what can I do even? I can cry at that movement.it was like the time was paused, because of his continuous stare, my sitting position and the disturbing thoughts coming in my mind, there was no movement. But then suddenly he started walking but not toward me but towards the door and silently smiling, he left the room. When he was going “he asked me-will you not ask about the injections I had given to your friends??” He answered his own question-well…those injections will erase their recent memories after a few minutes, and then he left the room.
Well I was thinking that those were not my friends ,those were my enemeis who left me behind. Bhavishya came into the room after some minutes with my sister.my sister was crying and screaming, he had inserted a few pins on her body aan..an..and he was dragging my sister by his hairs. I closed my eyes ,I couldn’t see her in pain .Tears came up in my eyes. Now my inner body felt aggressive .I stood up and cried “you bloody hell, why are you doing that with my sister.....stop it! sto...st..stoppp please.
Bhavishya replied in a calm voice ,hey don’t worry you both are going to be happy, I am sending you to heaven, isn’t it? (Aira thinking)huh! I am going to die ,so why not to kill him and save my sister, I can’t give up here even if he has good weapons I am gonna kill him .I was just thinking these all and suddenly Bhavishya threw his axe at me but I don’t know how my hand moved itself .so my hand took the bag and I just put it in front of me, the axe collided with the bag and fell on the ground just few cm away from .I saw the axe ,I had a chance. I took the axe in my hand and stood up, wiped my tears and started walking toward the killer. when he saw me walking toward him ,he threw my sister aside and took off his belt which really surprised me because he had nothing instead of a axe and the injections in his pocket but no I was wrong, he has a sharp belt having sharp nails and pins inserted .He must have kept it for torture purposes which I could not see. but I don’t care about it ,I am going to die so don’t have any fear.(Aira is smiling and staring to Bhavishya while Bhavishya is looking at her in an aggressive manner, both have no fear) he start walking toward me and hit me by the belt ,it was really hurt full but He started hitting me continuously with that belt which was very painful but I stood firm and with that axe cut his hand in which the belt was. I was in a lot of pain and blood was also flowing from my body because of the belt and now his hand fell down along with that belt after getting cut. I screamed after seeing all that and because of the killer cutting his hand. For the first time there was pain and fear on Bhavishya’s face and this time I was smiling but also panicked because I have done something like this for the first time. Now I stabbed the axe on his stomach. He just fell down due to pain. I took all the weapons the belt, the axe from his stomach for my safety ,the injections in my hand. he was helpless his one hand was cut off and one was on the stomach ,I guess he can’t move for at least few minutes his organ is destroyed.so I went to check my little sister ,she felt unconscious while we were fighting because of the pain ,I removed all pins from he body and my tears started coming out. My eyes were closed and I was crying, then he came behind me and stabbed an injection in my body . He was moving so slowly that I did not even realize when he came behind me. I screamed and then turned back. Bhavishya was looking at me with a scary face, I had all the weapons but I was thinking what injection that is..? His hands were coming to the weapons. So I just took the axe and I hit him but didn’t know where I hit because he was behind me ,then I stood up and kicked him away from me.Not only him but now I was too becoming helpless because of the injuries by the belt ,and maybe the injections were made for making someone unconscious ,so I was fainting.but i tried my best to fight him until he is half dead or killed .The killer is now aggressive he was on the ground taking long breath but laughing. He starts saying what do you think you win?really….? No never.I had faced many preys like you who wants to kill me and escape but there was no one who could survive.maybe i will look weak but I am not ,you can see many scares on my face.they are the proofs that i have killed and tortured many like you.Fortunatly, and you are going to be unconscious in few minutes.
, the way you cut my hand, I will cut yours too in the same way and join it with my cut hand, I will give you so much pain that your pain will be nothing as compared to the torture i will give you. I give special torture treatment to girls like you, that is why I am not afraid of you...and after saying all this he starts laughing. I heard all this but didn’t reply because i have to save my energy ,everything is getting blurry and dark in front of my eyes.but i have to fight until i save my sister.yes i know my body is burning from inside ,all injuries on my body is giving me too much pain. But…I will fight....will fight. We both were on the opposite side of the wall and i was watching the ground, the sound of walking came to my ears.Yes Bhavishya was walking toward me,i took the belt in one hand and the axe in the other.now I stood up and and faced Bhavishya ,he suddenly hit a milton bottle on my head ,I fell on the ground,my eyes get closed, he must had taken the bottle from the room that I had kept for my safety, but I realized i have to fight i opened my eyes and threw the axe on him while i was on the ground.but he dodged the attack and then he took the axe from the ground.this all happened in few seconds. Now he had the axe ,this thing scared me.he came to me and grabbed my hairs tightly ,he had that axe in his hands, before he could do something…I took the flesh from the ground and put it in his mouth which was disgusting. He released my hair and he vomited. After some time I stood up and started attacking him with the belt. The axe fell on the ground when I hit him on his arm but he started walking towards me then even when I was hitting him.So I started walking backward.but now when I was at the end of the room,He grabbed my neck tightly and started choking me. To redeem,I kicked on his main part with my knees. He stumbled back in pain and fell on his knees on the ground. He was kneeling down ,looks like he couldn’t stand for a long time. I went behind him and tied him with the belt. He could not do anything because I was behind him and he was already in pain and could not move, so I thrust the cutters and pen which I had in my pocket on the soles of his feet. From now he can’t even move. The fate was with me,he was full helpless-he can’t stand, can’t move, tieded up,injured ,one hand cut,on stomach. In short he was half dead.
Best chance for me now I was free from him but I felt like I would faint in a few minutes. I was feeling dizzy and was going limp, but even in that condition, I took my unconscious sister in my lap and started walking out. The bleeding from my sister’s body had stopped. I took the water bottle, locked the door and came out.Even after coming out, I came to another empty room and I could hear the screams of these people, but ignoring it, I sprinkled water on my sister and she came to her senses. Hearing everyone’s screams, she started crying. I covered her eyes with a cloth because the room was quite scary. Maybe the noise was coming into the inner room because it was sound proof, but still these screams left were scary. I consoled my sister that this is a game in which we have to ignore all these scary things and went outside. My sister stopped crying after a few seconds. I opened the door of the room. And As I walked forward, a rotting body, cut in half, fell before me. I screamed. The body was disgusting; only the head and heart remained. The rest was chopped off, some of the skin peeled off, and the rest was covered in scabs. The body could barely manage to say, “Kill me, I can’t live like this,” and began to cry. Tears came up in my eyes,my sister asked what happened didi(sister)? I said nothing, it’s just something in my eyes..not only that body bb..bu..but..It was a hell outside that room. I was on the upper floor and to go out I had to go down and the siddhi that I had to take for that could be done only after crossing that hell. In front of me“Every inch of the hall spoke of death, the whole hall was covered with corpses(in hindi-lashe).There were some alive and some horribly tortured. It seemed everyone had been tortured, some dead and some alive. All the bodies were women. The killer had told me earlier that he only kills women.i can’t believe he was a bloody psycho killier.I just closed my eyes and started walking towards the stairs,it was literally like a hello.i just had start walking, but suddenly Just then, the hand of a half-burnt corpse grabbed my leg and pleaded, “Save me.” I was terrified. I could barely walk on the floor with the bodies but I was still trying my hardest to walk, looking at the ground and ignoring the bodies. But as soon as it grabbed my leg, I screamed again. I didn’t think anything of it and ran down the stairs, stepping over the bodies.now I stepped forward to the door. The ground floor was looking like a new built area which needs renovation-maybe the killer left this are in this situation with an intention to call their prey for help and then kidnap them and then torture. But the upper floor is really hell, really different. It’s been about half an hour now since he gave me the injection. Now that I’ve faced all the troubles and fought them, its like the injection had started working.I had completely forgotten about the injections and was conscious for more than half an hour, but now maybe... no, I will definitely drop my sister home before getting unconscious.now I was outside the hell.I was on the street. It was 6pm,I can say after seeing the sun. My sister climbed off my lap, said, “We won the game,” and started laughing. She was happy, but she didn’t know the truth. This house wasn’t far from mine. She let go of my hand and walked toward her house as if nothing had happened. I stood up too, and I must have taken only two steps when everything went blurry again, and I fainted on that deserted road, my hair scattered, my body covered in deep wounds and blood stains
.(its like few minutes passed after I was fainted, from here an another scene is started someone is saying something)
someone is saying-”hey girl…hey wake up Listen... listen, can you hear me? Come to your senses . he sprinkled some water on that girl from whom she was talking.yes you are absolutely right that girl was Aira.(Back then, when Aira lost her senses, some people were there but ignored her,she was really in a terrible condition, no one dared to go to check her. After a few minutes a boy came ,his name was Vivan ,He was cycling in that street. He threw his bicycle and as soon as he saw Aira, he went to see her and he sat beside her. He placed Aira’s head on his lap. Then, he sprinkled water on her and then…)
But the dose of injection was high.As the crowd began to gather, whispering and watching, Vivan didn’t waste a second. He carefully lifted Aira into his arms, and hurried toward his home — unaware that this meeting would change both their lives forever. But offcourse Vivan’s house was far ,so he just decided to go to a nearby clinic.
Vivan hurried through the empty street, carrying Aira carefully in his arms. Her head rested against his shoulder, her pulse faint but steady. He reached a small roadside clinic and pleaded for help. After grabbing a few medicines and an injection, he gently laid her down on a bench, treating her wounds with quiet care.A few minutes later, Aira’s eyelids fluttered open. The world around her was blurry at first, but then she felt warmth — she was resting against someone’s shoulder. Realization struck, and her cheeks instantly flushed crimson.“Y-you… who are you?” she stammered, her voice trembling as she tried to move. “Put me down!”Vivan blinked, half startled, half amused .Vivan looked at her wounds, his voice soft yet worried. “You’re hurt… let me help you.”Aira turned away, whispering, “You don’t need to care. Please, just go.”He took a slow breath. “I can’t leave you like this. You may not trust me, but I can’t walk away knowing you’re in pain.“She stared at him, unsure what to say — and for the first time, she saw and had felt something in his eyes she hadn’t seen in years…a genuine care. Refusing to the internal feeling of care she says”whatever! Just leave me and why are you showing me this kind of care when even you don’t know me??
“Easy there… you were unconscious,” he said softly. “If I hadn’t found you, you might’ve—”Before he could finish, she looked away, biting her lip in hesitation. Their eyes met for just a second — enough to make her heart skip a beat.Aira slowly sat up, still weak but alert. Her eyes flickered toward Vivan, who stood beside her, holding a small bottle of water.“Here… drink this,” he said softly.Aira hesitated for a moment, her fingers trembling as she took the bottle. “You… helped me?”Vivan smiled faintly. “Well, someone had to. You were lying there half-dead on the road.”She blinked, a little offended but mostly embarrassed. “I—I didn’t ask for your help,” she mumbled.Vivan chuckled quietly. “Yeah, I noticed. You were too busy being unconscious.”That made her look away, biting back a small smile. “Still… thank you,” she whispered, her voice low but sincere.Vivan leaned slightly closer, teasing, “So… do I at least get to know the name of the girl who almost gave me a heart attack?”“Aira,” she said, glancing at him through her messy hair. “And you?”“Vivan,” he replied with a grin. “Now that we’ve introduced ourselves… Maybe next time try staying conscious, Miss Aira.”She let out a faint laugh, and for the first time in days, her heart felt a little lighter.
After their brief conversation, Vivan smiled softly.“I’ll just grab my cycle,” he said. “You sit here, okay?”Aira nodded quietly as he stepped outside. Her eyes fell on the bottle of water lying beside her. She reached for it but stopped halfway. Her throat was dry, begging for water, yet her hands trembled.Memories flashed — this evening , the killer, the food laced with something that made her unconscious. The same helplessness clawed back into her chest. What if this water had something too? What if she was being fooled again? Her heart raced, and she pulled her hand back slowly. She stared at the bottle, fear and doubt swirling in her eyes. But somewhere inside, another feeling stirred — a strange calmness whenever she thought of Vivan. Something about his voice, his eyes, felt… different. Safe, even. Still, her fear was stronger. She sighed softly and placed the bottle aside, choosing to wait for him to return.Vivan came back with his cycle and then he looked at Aira’s weak face and said softly,“You have many wounds, injuries… and so many bloodstains. If you want, you can tell me what happened.”Then he saw the water bottle near her. “You didn’t drink it?” he asked. “You look so tired and weak. Maybe you’re hungry and thirsty too.”Aira didn’t say anything for a while. She looked up at the sky while she was sitting on that bench. When I was coming from school, it was five o’clock… Now it’s already seven, she thought and took a deep breath. Then she turned toward Vivan. Her voice was low and shaky. “I… I didn’t drink it,” she said slowly. “I don’t trust you. You might be working for that killer…”Vivan looked surprised, but Aira continued, her eyes filled with fear. “And why do you care about my wounds or this blood? Tell me… why?”Why did you save me? I wanted to die anyway.just tell me why. After saying those words, Aira’s voice broke. Tears filled her eyes, and before she could stop herself, she started crying softly. All the fear, pain, and memories came rushing back the blood, the fight, the killer.Vivan took a small step closer, his face full of concern “Hey…Hey…hey please don’t cry,” he said gently. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”Aira looked at him through her tears. “Then why?” she whispered. “Why did you save me? You don’t even know me.“Vivian sat down on the bench beside her, keeping his voice calm and kind. “Because you needed help,” he said simply. “When I saw you lying on that road… I couldn’t just walk away. You looked like you’d already been through enough.”Aira wiped her tears slowly, still breathing hard. Vivan gave a small, soft smile. “Sometimes,” he added, “we don’t need a reason to help someone. Maybe… it’s just what’s right.”For a few seconds, neither of them spoke. The silence between them wasn’t cold anymore — it was gentle, like a small light in the dark. After that silence,Vivan picked up the bottle kept on the bench and took a sip of water. Then, handing it to Aira, he said softly, “Now you can drink from this without any hesitation. If anything happens now, then it will happen to both of us.Vivan’s gentle answer and concern made something inside Aira melt. All her doubts and fears slowly faded away. As she was very thirsty after that all mess,She took the bottle from his hand, drank the water, and let out a deep, shaky breath.Seeing her calm down a little, Vivan asked softly, “You look a bit better now and looks like now you believe me… will you tell me what happened to you?”Aira didn’t answer. She couldn’t even meet his eyes. Her fingers twisted nervously, and after a moment, she stood up quietly.Without saying a word, she held Vivan’s hand and started walking.Vivan blinked in surprise. “Hey—wait! Where are you taking me?” he asked, trying to keep up.Aira turned her head slightly and said in a low voice, “Just come with me…”Aira walked ahead silently, her hand still holding Vivan’s. After a few minutes, they stopped in front of an old house. The wind around it was cold and heavy, carrying the smell of dust and rust.Pointing toward it, Aira said in a trembling voice, “This… this is the place.”Vivan looked at the house carefully, his brows tightening. “You mean… this is where everything happened?”Aira nodded and slowly told him everything — about the killer, the fight, their seniors and classmates who left her alone, and how she escaped. Her voice shook as she spoke, but she didn’t stop.
When she finished, Vivan stood there in silence for a moment, shocked. “This is… really strange and terrifying,” he said softly. Then looking at her, he added, “You’re really brave, Aira. Most people wouldn’t have survived this.”Aira looked down, saying nothing.Vivan took out his phone. “Wait here,” he said. “I’ll call the police first.”He spoke quickly, telling them about the house and sending the location. After ending the call, he looked back at Aira and nodded.“Alright,” he said, “they’re on their way… but till then, let’s take a look As they stepped inside, the air grew heavier. The silence of the house felt alive — as if the walls were still holding screams from the past.Aira held Vivan’s hand tightly, her grip trembling. Vivan understood—she was still scared, even though she was trying to stay strong. They looked around the ground floor. Everything seemed normal… just messy and covered in dust, but quiet. Too quiet.. Slowly, they began climbing the stairs to the upper floor. Each step echoed through the empty house, and with every sound and screams, Aira’s heartbeat grew faster,A feeling of fear started coming inside her .Halfway up, faint cries began to echo — whispers, muffled screams, as if the house itself was remembering what had happened there.By the time they reached the second floor. Vivan froze, His eyes widened in shock — goosebumps ran across his skin. The sight before them was something he couldn’t explain, a strange mix of horror and disbelief-when he saw the mix of half dead and dead corpses all around that floor’s hall, the condition of all that bodies, the dirt and flies around the bodies, the blood’’ all these things haunted Vivan from inside .Airae stood beside him, her face pale. She had seen this all before… and yet, the memories hit her again, making her breath tremble. She looked around with anxious, frightened eyes, as if the shadows still carried her pain inside.”And then together, they slowly walked toward the dark doorway of the killer’s room where he would be in half dead situation,as Aira had left him in that condition after the fight. They saw that the killer was not there. When they finally reached the killer’s room, it was empty. The air was cold and heavy, as if something terrible had just happened there. Airae looked around nervously. How could this be possible? I had left him here “He’s not here…” she whispered. But before they could even turn back, a faint sound came from behind them — soft footsteps. The killer was there. He had been standing right behind them, moving so silently that they hadn’t noticed. His eyes were dark and filled with rage. Holding a sword in his trembling one hand, he slowly raised it and charged toward them.Aira froze in fear, but before the blade could reach her, Vivan reacted instantly. He pulled Aira behind him and blocked the attack. The killer, still weak and injured, couldn’t swing with full force. Vivan grabbed the chance — he struck back hard, disarming the man. The sword clattered to the ground, and the killer fell with it, gasping in pain.Airae was terrified but got a relief later when the killer fell. After a few seconds Airae said …wait there was no other weapon with him like the sword before.that means he has no other weapon. Then Vivian replied that there are more weapons somewhere in the house. Right?ivan was wearing a T-shirt with a shirt over it. Without wasting a second, he took off his shirt and quickly tied it around the killer’s legs, making sure he couldn’t move.
Aira, still breathing heavily, looked around the room. Her eyes caught sight of a bag in the room,so she cut the bag’s shoulder strap with a cutter lying there in the corner . She rushed and handed it to Vivan.“Here,” she said softly, her voice still shaky.Vivan nodded and tied the killer’s hands tightly with the rope, making sure he couldn’t break free this time. The killer groaned in pain, struggling weakly, but his strength was almost gone. Finally, Vivan stepped back, took a deep breath, and looked at Aira. “It’s over… he can’t hurt you now,” he said quietly.now they were searching for the weapons around in the house.they foud a secret almirah under the slab in the kitchen where many harmful and dangerous weapons ,injectios & other torture tools were kept. They were just observing the house in depth after that. But suddenly the police came, they asked who are you guyzz .Why are you here ?Vivan replied in confidence I am the one who called you,and this is Aira, the one who the killer had tried to kill. The police said,You are looking very confident so I think that you would be true. Yaah I am! Vivan replied.(The police are now investigating the house; they were not shocked).
Aira asked why they are not looking shocked,Vivan replied this is their daily work”they would be habitual of these corpses. Then a constable came to them and commanded them to wait outside. After about half an hour ,the police came outside with the killer. After a few minutes, the police came out of the house, the killer now in handcuffs. The moment Aira saw him, her body tensed, and she instinctively held Vivan’s hand tightly. He didn’t pull away — just looked at her softly, as if telling her she was safe now.Soon, a large truck stopped near the house. A few officers stepped out and went inside. When they returned, they were carrying bodies — each one wrapped carefully in plastic sheets for post-mortem. Some survivors, wounded and terrified, were handcuffed and taken away for questioning. Others carried sealed bags filled with the things recovered from the house — evidence of what had happened inside.Aira and Vivan stood silently, watching everything — the flashing lights, the noise, the heavy air of pain that hung around the place. It all felt unreal. Finally, when the truck left, a police officer walked up to them and said, “You two need to come with us.”They nodded quietly. Vivan held Aira’s hand again as they were guided into the police jeep. As the vehicle started moving, the abandoned house grew smaller in the distance — but the memories inside it would never leave them. Before the police gently guided them toward the jeep, an officer asked about Aira’s family. Vivan tried to explain, but the officer’s face grew serious as he listened. There were no parents or relatives to call for Aira — her grandmother had died recently, but because she had legally left all the property and money for Aira .So the Child Welfare Committee was legally managing her home ,property, and affairs. The officer noted that she had a few properties and a bank account, all under temporary guardianship by CWC(child welfare commities) . They asked vivan to ask about his parents-”No need,I am 19 yrs old so you can take me to the station,Also I am just a witness”replied Vivan.Okh as you like said the officer.Later after this all they were now in the police station.the police was investigating the matter. The police asked about what happened and then Aira explained all the situation happened. Some other questions were asked to both of them .They answered all of them. It was 9pm now ,a cold and dark night. The investigation was also done with other survivors. Some of the other survivors who were in a very bad condition gave up their lives in the ongoing investigation.,After a long round of questioning, the police arranged for Aira and the other surviving girls to be taken to the hospital. No one could immediately identify their families, so each girl was examined one by one. It took about half an hour for the first few checks; many of them had bandages all over their bodies because of the wounds.
Vivan stayed by Aira’s side the whole time. When the doctors finished, Aira asked him quietly, “Do you want to go home now?”You can go ... .I am accustomed to living alone. He smiled and shook his head. “No,” he said softly. “I don’t want to go. I feel... calm helping you. Being with you here gives me peace.”Aira smiled after listening to all this.Aira lay on the hospital bed, eyes heavy and pale. Vivan sat beside her, talking softly so she could hear him — they introduced themselves properly and told each other small things about their lives. Vivan spoke about his college, the street where he stayed, little useless facts that somehow felt honest in the quiet room. Slowly, Aira’s breathing evened out and sleep took her; she fell into a tired, light sleep with her hand still loosely holding the blanket.A few minutes later an officer in plain clothes came into the ward. He looked at Vivan and asked, “Will you stay here the whole night? We’ll need to inform the family — and tell me, what is your relation to her?” His tone was professional but gentle .Vivan swallowed once, thinking fast,he knew that he would say that he didn’t know her,he had met her just today so I don’t know how the officer will behave. He didn’t want to make the situation worse for Aira, so he answered calmly, “I’m an old friend — childhood friend. I stay in a PG near the college. She’s sleeping now, I can go home and come back in the morning.” The officer nodded, made a short note in his file, and said, “Alright. We’ll call you if we need anything. Make sure she gets proper rest.” Then he left them alone in the soft hospital light.Vivan felt a strange connection with Aira,he was happy .He decided to visit the hospital daily until Aira recovers.(The investigation is still about the other survivors and That from which family they belong and about the killer, who is him, happening why he tortured the girls and if someone is behind this all, about the postmortem reports.the police officers were asking and connecting to other station,If there is any missing report of the girls who are found in the killer’s house by sending the pictures of the girls and their belonging items.)
The police report was horrific. Around 45 girls were rescued,26 bodies were dead, their vital organs were missing like kidney, heart, liver or something else . 19 of them survived—but the state of their bodies revealed the extent of their suffering.also all the girls (victims of the killer) were minor, below 18. Everyone had been brutally tortured. Most of the girls couldn’t speak; they were silent, pale, and fearful. Tears were falling from their eyes, and they were choking at every little sound, frozen with trauma.Vivaan and Aira were observing all this in the hospital. Aira was lucky that she did not have to endure that torture and they both was sad for the other girls. It took almost a week for all the surviving girls to recover. Aira, who had the least injuries among them, remained in the hospital since no family member could take care of her. She gradually healed completely, though the other girls still needed medical attention.Even after a full week of investigation, the police couldn’t trace the homes of these girls, and there were no missing reports filed at other stations for any of them.Meanwhile, Bhaishya was repeatedly brought in for questioning. He was beaten several times in an attempt to make him reveal the truth, but he didn’t say a word. He was kept in a separate cell because he intimidated other prisoners and picked fights. The police found themselves frustrated and stuck, unable to get much information despite all their efforts.
Every morning before college and again after classes, Vivan would come by the hospital to check on Aira. It became his routine — a visit that slowly turned into something deeper. They talked a lot; laughed at small things; shared secrets. In a week, they were no longer strangers but good friends who trusted each other.
One evAirang, when the ward was quiet, Aira decided to tell him her story. She spoke in short, careful sentences, as if touching old wounds.Airae’s relatives had broken their ties with her parents because they had eloped and got married in court. Her parents had run away to marry;so Aira had no relatives. When Aira was twelve, her parents died in a car accident. The woman who raised her after that was not her real grandmother — she was someone known to her mom who lived with Aira’s parents as their mother; treated her like her own. Because of the legal case and the papers, the house had been put in Aira’s name under guardianship of her grandmother after her parent’s death. When Aira turned fifteen, that woman — the only family she had — also passed away .After her parents’ deaths, Aira had no close friends. The few people who pretended to be friends gradually left. Worse, some boys spread cruel rumours that her parents died because of her.Because once, when she had stood up to bullies and got them suspended, they swore revenge. From that day on, Aira’s life at school and in the neighbourhood became a kind of living nightmare. She stopped trusting people, closed herself off, and grew up too quickly.Vivian listened quietly, without interrupting. For the first time in a long while, Aira felt safe enough to share things she had buried for years. Their bond, fragile and new, began to grow from those small truths.
ListAirang to Aira, Vivan also opened up about his past. He told her that his parents weren’t his real parents — he was adopted because his biological parents couldn’t conceive. Growing up, he had always been distant from them; they(Vivan’s parents) never really cared. He never celebrated festivals with them or had any special moments at home.
During school, he stayed in a hostel, and now in college he lived in a PG. He made some really good friends, some stayed for a while, some left — it was a cycle. He would come home only for a few days during the summer vacations, and even then, his parents sent him back quickly. Love and care were things he had almost never received.I think my parents never needed a baby, they had just adopted me maybe because of some force by someone.Hearing each other’s stories, both of them felt a strange sense of comfort — two people scarred by their pasts finding a little peace in shared understanding.Ani asked ‘’Do you have any relative?’’.Vivan replied “I don’t know”.I am not much connected with my parents, and I think in future too,no change will occur.you know what I am very rich but I can feel the quote that ‘’Money can’t buy happiness’’.let it be….As days passed, Aira and Vivan grew really close. Their bond strengthened with every shared laugh, every story, and every quiet moment spent together. It was comforting for both of them — like they finally found someone who understood.
Coincidentally, their schools and university were very close to each other — just about five minutes apart. This small coincidence made it easier for them to meet, talk, and spend time together, and it added a natural rhythm to their growing friendship. After a few days, Aira completely recovered. Once she was fit again, Vivan made it a habit to accompany her every day. He would take her from her home to school in the morning, pick her up after college, and walk her back safely to her house. These daily walks became something they both looked forward to — small talks, shared laughter, and the simple comfort of being together made their bond grow even stronger.
About the investigation,it was still ongoing”-After a very thorough investigation, the police got to know that all the girls were orphans. Most of the girls were belonging to an orphanage some of them were having a family but they were disabled by birth ,At last some girls were going to suiside and some were not interested or happy in their life. All this information came from Bhavishya, the killer, when he was on the brink of death. His body could no longer endure, and finally, he spilled the entire truth. After that, he was sentenced to death after this disgusting crime. The most shocking thing was that bhavishya was confessing that he was continuously saying that no matter if I will be sentenced to death but the missing reports will still keep coming,You know what Mr. officer Mom and Dad are behind this….find them to stop the game that means there are more killers and some one else is behind them. And only then will you be able to save people from dying.when the officers asked about why do you kill these girls,So he replied-’’i was just helping to clean the trash”.And even after my death there were more helpers to clean.
The day when he was sentenced to death,His last words were “Thankyou MOM and DAD.Likely 20 days had passed after the day when the investigation was started.every girl was recovered and were back to their orphanage and their houses. Also Vivan and Aira had moved on by that accident.they were now busy in their life. But officers were worried about the confession of that why did he said that there are more killers.well he was true because there are more than 100 missing reports present in different stations of different district which includes mans, youngs, children, boys, handicapped and other categories.2 week later after this the case was closed by the officers as they were now sick investigating the case, so he closed it, saying, “All the girls have been saved and their killer has also been killed.”
“For now, everything seemed fine. The nightmare was over… or at least that’s what everyone believed. The officers closed the files, pretending the city was safe again. But deep down, they knew — there were still more monsters hiding somewhere, waiting for their next move. They chose to ignore the signs, burying the truth under reports and silence, while life outside slowly returned to normal.
For Aira and Vivan, it felt like a new beginning — a fragile peace after all the pain. But the real story had only just begun. Somewhere in the shadows, the unanswered questions still whispered — about the other missing people, the dark network, and the truth about Aira’s lost parents or maybe his parents were actually killed in a car accident.who knows whats the truth,Deeper down in the past something is hidden,Now you just wait for the next explosion and the truth to be revealed.
This was just the calm before another storm. The search for the truth had only started, and what lay ahead was far more dangerous than anyone could imagine.”
THANK YOU A LOT FOR READING THE FIRST CHAPTER……WAIT FOR THE NEXT.
