Summary

Have you ever imagined what it feels like to lose someone you love — not to time, not to distance, but to brutality? To watch their smile fade from your memories, replaced by the echo of their last cry? When I heard what happened… something inside me broke — and it hasn’t healed since. People said, “Stay strong.” But how do you stay strong when the world that made sense yesterday, suddenly feels poisoned today? It’s not just pain — it’s fire. A fire that burns in silence, screaming for justice, but knowing that no punishment can ever bring them back. You begin to think of the rapist — not as a human, but as a monster who stole someone’s soul. And deep down, a dark part of you whispers — “I want them to feel the fear she felt, the pain she faced.” That’s the truth of grief. It’s not clean. It’s raw. It’s ugly. But then… another thought hits. If I become like them, will that bring her peace? No. Because what she deserves is not my rage — but my voice. A voice that stands up for those who can't speak anymore. A voice that fights for a world where no one has to feel what I felt. So I speak - not out of hate, but out of love. Love for every soul silenced too soon. Love that refuses to let her story end with pain. Justice isn't about revenge. It's about making sure no one else ever has to stand where I stand today.

Chapter 1: The Boy without Pain

Veeransh wasn't born special.

He was made different.

Since the day he opened his eyes, he carried a strange gift or maybe, a curse. He couldn't feel pain. Not a scratch, not a burn, not even a broken bone could make him flinch. The world thought he was lucky. But his parents knew better a body that feels no pain forgets the meaning of being alive.

His father, Dr. Aaryan Mehta, was a genetic researcher working on human nerve regeneration an experiment meant to cure paralysis. But in his quest to change the world, he changed his own son. A small lab accident a chemical leak mixed with experimental radiation affected Veeransh while he was still in his mother's womb. His pain receptors were destroyed... replaced with something unknown. At first, they thought he'd grow up normal. But as he turned ten, things began to change. He didn't cry when he got hurt. He didn't react when a dog bit him. And slowly, he began to lose something deeper - empathy.

One night, the same lab that gave him his gift caught fire. His father rushed back in to save his data - the only chance to reverse Veeransh's condition. His mother followed.

The explosion that followed took everything except Veeransh.

He stood outside, watching the flames consume the only people who ever loved him. He didn't scream, didn't cry. The fire roared, and yet... he felt nothing. No pain, no fear, no grief. Only emptiness.

That night, he learned the cruel truth when you can't feel pain, you stop feeling human.
