"In some stories, background details can become irrelevant to the actual story. In this case, it was the background details that allowed the story to progress. The story is something of a mystery/thriller based on the world order that involves the pursuit of truth using critical thinking with a dash of Buddhism. Not so much the religion but the path to enlightenment. It is the journey rather than the ending that makes the story interesting."
