"I like quick reads like this, especially when the plot is realistic enough and logical, and the characters are convincing. The writing style gripped me from the first chapter, although some editing is needed in the later chapters, as quite a few minor errors need to be fixed. It was a slow burn with good pacing, though I admit I tend to skip the parts where the MCs are remembering or reliving things and jump straight to the real action. And the real action was good!"
