Summary

Columbia Law School student Sabrina Albright participates in the debate contest being held at her college, in hopes of being selected and awarded the one-year internship at EVANS & CO. — something on which she has been working hard since the commencement of her final year. On her successful selection, she and her competitor are summoned by the company’s CEO, Ryan Martinez Evans. A self-made business tycoon, who would be interviewing them personally, granting only one the opportunity. After her eccentric encounter with the powerful and utterly charming billionaire, Sabrina struggles to shut her subconscious, which keeps telling her that Evans is more than meets the eye, despite how imperious and bossy he may seem. As she focuses on her internship, the string of events stirs her curiosity about the dark past of the successful entrepreneur. While she endeavors to unravel his secret, she discovers an absolutely different man. The more she distances herself from him, the more he haunts her dreams.
