Egemed, The Divine Psycho
"Not sure Egemed is the Divine Psycho here or the people he meets in the story. The writer strips bare the human soul. A thought provoking, articulate story of a young man who is 'different' but in the best way imaginable. Egemed is not lost at all, but each individual he meets is. It's this young man's unique vision, how he sees others with his heart, and not any preconceived notions or prejudices that touch the reader's own heart, or at least, it did mine. I think this story should be mandatory reading for every student in mid-grades. It will likely be viewed as simple in nature but in reality, it is one of the most powerfully written essays on human nature I have read to date. I was privileged to find it. anyone who knows me, who has read my own stories know I am usually flippant, sarcastic and can't be serious for more than two seconds tops. I didn't feel the need with this writer's story. I hope you will give it a chance. it's lovely, soft and warm."
