Great Plot & Twist so far

"I believe the story has good legs so far; it’s shaping up to be an adventure for the young Stephanie, if my intuition is correct. The dialogue in Chapter 5 was the best of all the chapters — great foreshadowing and character trait revealing while pushing the storyline forward. The earlier chapters could use some tweaking in the world building domain but other than that the plot itself is good enough to draw readers interest. So far the entire novel has taken place in Phil’s office, which isn’t a bad thing, just something I took note of concerning scenes and mapping the world as the reader knows it. There’s a lot of history to unpack that you’ve hinted at through dialogue, I’m interested to see how you weave it into the remainder of the story w/o bogging things down — challenge that a lot of us world builders face 😅 All in all, superb job so far — looking forward to continuing, your building toward an epic climax/confrontation — I hope Phil/Steph and his family are ready to take it on.
