The sweetest sin to read
"The harshest spice is woven with the highest sweet...intoxicating to read and worthwhile. This isn't another lazy example of spice with just enough quick "plot" slotted in to make it readable. This is some good dark fantasy writing. The plot pulls the reader's intrigue and sparks imagination through the chapters just as well as the VERY spicy scenes do. Palescript maintains a fantastic teeter-totter between extremes, with attention to world building and compelling characters. Just as she richly describes that which is difficult to take in, the severe and shocking pain, ugliness, and violence, she just as powerfully and generously rewards the reader with beauty, charm, and softness. The descriptions given to world building are sumptuous, and the characters are fantastic. This is definitely the most delicious unhealthy treat that you will not want to stop consuming. The bonus chapters are worth it!!! Hoping there will be an opportunity to purchase this is print ❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Absolutely DEPRAVED, harsh, vivid spice, interwoven with STUNNING detail and intriguing storytelling. "I started reading this because it came up on multiple channels while I was searching for new content with some of the tags I love. I didn't want to read it at first, because it was unfinished and I'm normally too impatient for works in progress. I'm so glad I broke my own made up rule, because this series is everything I wanted and more! Of course, the smut is scorching, but it's more than that. The world building and lore are very interesting to slowly learn more about and I can immerse myself into the world the author built. When I read, I am Libby. For better or worse 😂 At the heart of it for me are the relatable, human emotions laced throughout this fantastical tale. Every MMC makes me feel a different way. Warm and fuzzy feelings, hot and bothered, outright mad or very sad. The thing is that reading this always makes me feel some type of way and that is its strength to me. Not to mention the bonus chapters which turn up the heat even more 🔥 What makes this stand out for me even more, is that in addition to the series itself there is a dedicated Discord server with lots of lovely people which truly feels like a welcoming and safe community to me ❤️ People from all over the world ready to yap, rant, rave and more with each other. Brought together by the medium of degenerate content, that's not something you see every day. In conclusion, give it a try if you like the look of the tags and you'll probably be very glad you did. And if you feel so inclined after reading a bit, maybe I'll see you pop up in the Discord server ☺️"

"The slow build up and rich breadcrumb trail of lore is to die for. However, the element of this story that I love the most is the writing. The descriptions that play on the senses that literally make you FEEL it, not just the words, but how the sentences are structured too are so dang good. I've actually re-read chapters several times because it just simply feels so good to read something so well written that also has the tasteful spicy content I love. For My Ascension has many categories of indulgence to satisfy your palate. I can't recommend this story enough!! It's also really awesome the author/writer Palescript has a Patreon you can subscribe to get early release and bonus chapters. The community is also really awesome, I wasn't expecting to join a Discord server that was born from supporting an amazing book-in-progress. Lots of like-minded and kind creatures there. "Im here from Ao3 since Pales moved so here’s Review 2: Inkitt Electric Boogaloo. Smut with plot. Character development and the perfect thing to scratch that Male Yandere dark fiction itch. The writing style is riveting and the chapters are tasty bite sized pieces. Libby(FMC) is not just a passive passenger either. Smut With Substance
"This story has me hooked. The worldbuilding pulls you in, and the character dynamics are *chef’s kiss*. (For our girl and her boys I have run the spectrum from disgust, dissapointment, hope, sadness, encouragement, confusion and well... *twirls strand of hair between finger while giggling* - just to name a few.) It’s definitely an intense read (If you go for it please read all and I mean ALL of the TW page), but what I really loved is that the spice actually has context; there’s plot, atmosphere, and buildups and breakdowns that make everything hit harder instead of feeling thrown in just for shock value. Super immersive, very addictive, and absolutely deviant!"

"I love how this story hits the ground running diving straight into the spice and setting the tone for the rest of the story. The writing is top notch, the characters feel real, and the world building is *chef's kiss*. It is on the darker side, but the author isn't scared to take the reader to places I haven't read in any other book and I'm here for it. If you love spice that's on the darker side with both sexy and vile monsters I highly, highly recommend giving this a read 100%"
A wild ride
"So this has been a good read, if you're into dark stuff that is. The story starts the spicy things off pretty quick and doesn't really hit the brakes, in fact it's been ramping up in intensity from the get go (so far anyway, currently writing this review after reading through CH 17). That being said the plot isn't left out either. You have the option to get a bit more info about what is happening or not right out of the gate, so it's clear there is an overarching story that is at play. I decided to go in blind and in the beginning I was just as confused as the MC, but over the chapters the plot has been hinted at and progressed in a very satisfying way, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. The authors ability to invent and then describe fantastical locations, feelings and incomprehensible body parts and acts is impressive and I'm always surprised by what comes next. TLDR: If you like crazy shit done well, this story has it."

Actual plot twists, hints of a mysterious past, so much potential for the future. "I've been reading this so far on another platform, and I am glad to see it making it's way here for more people to enjoy. Pale's writing is deliciously descriptive with enough detail to make the heart rise at your core whilst keeping you throughly engaged and wanting to come back again and again to see where the story is going. The world building and the character building are on point each character clearly defined with their mannerisms and described well enough to build a mental image. I will definitely be continuing on with reading this story and cannot wait to see what happens to previous little Libby. "
