Story Notes

Suddenly, the lights turn off. I grab my gun from my table, stand out of instinct, and walk cautiously. I make it to my living room hoping to find the main power outlet. While I was walking towards the outlet, I heard clicking not just any clicking but the same clicking I heard that day in the basement.

I chuckled darkly. “You know, people usually use the front door. What did you use, Stalker?” I asked, keeping my voice low and husky.

I turned around, my eyes met hers, she was standing near my couch, wearing her mask she tied her hair into a high ponytail she was dressed in a knee-length black dress, sleeveless. She chuckles and looks behind, towards my glass wall half covered by the curtains. The moonlight peeked through, and that’s when I noticed a window open. She’s clever. She knew that the door with no alarm was hidden in plain sight.

“Why are you here?” I ask, I turn on the main switch and the power comes back on.

I turn to look at her crossing my arms. She takes out a box and throws it towards me, which I catch effortlessly with one hand. It read ‘Happy birthday, Dev’. I look at my watch which reads midnight. I look at her again and she signals me to open the box.

I opened it and found a dagger, it was metallic, Black and silver along with its cover. I turn to look at her but I don’t find her anywhere. It looks like she went home since the windows closed. I chuckled and kept my ‘present’ on the table along with my gun. I went towards my bar for a drink. Suddenly, someone clicked my hands together behind me with the handcuffs.

She tricked me, I underestimated her... Who knew the girl shorter than me could trick me?

Summary

They say, A hero will sacrifice the world for you but, A villain will burn this world down for you, but they only explained it from a male point of view. What do you call a female who would willingly destroy everything for you? They never gave a name for that because, according to ridiculous people, there never was a women who was strong enough to kill or die for her loved one.Well, let's break that stereotype. Because I'm here now, I can kill for Dev and I can willingly die for him. What do you call that? I don't know. But what I do know is that I'm obsessed with him.If he wants love, I'll give him my soul. If he wants to play a game with me, I'll play along.
