What is your opinion?

Review!

"I read like from almost ch3 till the very end offline so I didn’t much react or comment on the chapters. But anyways this one has been one my favourite series yet. 🤌🏻👏🏻 The plot intensified really fast and Ethan did not deserve what he went through! I feel really sad for him. He was just a child and people feared him for his powers, but he really has a good heart.. And Flare! She didn’t deserve this betrayal from Focus. Doesn’t mean she has extraordinary powers means she has to be put down! And Focus? I have no sympathy for him. He should have never pretended in the first place when he knew what he had to the end! Well then we had Infinity come up and he somehow managed to capture Ethan and now he plans to capture Flare tho I doubt very much that he can! Infinity is fine, kinda egoistic. Tho I would say he makes a good villain! And the last chapter as always was really humorous. 😭😂 Greattt workkk! "

Power Surge

"Some books delve into trauma, and this one certainly does. Don’t read it if you have a fragile heart, a soft spot for children, or can’t handle betrayal. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to become so intense so quickly. Both the ice surge and fire beacon are major destructive forces, but everyone except some seems to forget there's a real person behind these events. Having extraordinary powers doesn’t make someone less human, they still have emotions and deserve respect, not to be treated like animals. At this point, I don't care much about Ethan's fate, but Flare? She doesn’t deserve what's happening to her. If you think I should hate both of them, you’re mistaken. Look at how Flare was introduced and compare that with Ethan's character. I feel sympathy for Ethan, but Flare is on a different level, she gets excited over small things and loves junk food. These traits make her very human, which is why we relate to her more than ever. There was also a trope involving Flare and Focus. Honestly, even if Focus didn’t have feelings for her, he shouldn’t have acted as he did—friends should suffice as a reason. Maybe he's misunderstood or doesn’t see a future without Aegis. We saw him nearly having a panic attack, which sheds light on his past, but that doesn't justify his betrayal. It's hard to accept that Focus has flaws, but he never claimed to be perfect, which makes him relatable. Still, perhaps it’s time to stop being delusional, though I fear it’s too late. Part two: So guess who showed up? My Infinity, ofcourse. We can’t expect this from Focus the betrayer. I saw that coming, ngl. I have began to understand him better and I don’t mind the fact he has a book about Enigma... maybe Enigma was misunderstood too. The only person who isn’t misunderstood is “Focus the betrayer”. Dunno what Infinity will do with both surge beacons but one thing is for sure, Ethan can be manipulated but Flare is not an easy target. I hope she understands his agenda. At least, she will be safe... no Aegis. And if she will reconsider giving a chance to Focus the betrayer, bye bye to Flare as well. I will be no one’s or Infinity’s supporter at that time. That’s it! Keep the trauma coming. "

A superpowered action script!

"A superhero caper for lovers of anime - the script-like writing style of Power Surge puts you in the middle of the action, with a bunch pf superpowered young people showing off their tricks. There is a morally grey villain making life hard for our protagonists, a lovable, goofy sidekick, and generous amounts of slapstick comedy. Also, there may or may not be a budding romance... The first 10 chapters I read for the GEA deliver action-heavy scenes and hint at more conspiracies and confrontations to come. Be warned, though, that this is a book 2, and it might make more sense if you read book 1 first (I haven't). "
