I only have two questions, one, if her mother pulled her support because Sophie was becoming distracted with a boy then why didn't she do that during Sophie's 3 year relationship with Mark? And two, the book cover and description says Sophie is a brunette but she is dubbed a blonde several times, is she a blonde or brunette? ❤️"

"Loved the story line an Sophie’s character development. A few inconsistencies like her hair is mentioned both as brunette and blonde, the beginning says U of M and then later it’s Briar, Eli lives in the hockey house but then has an apartment with a spare room later? If her mom is so upset about her having a boyfriend, how did she date mark for 3 years? A little refinement of the details is needed, but aside from that this story will have you hooked!"

Binge worthy and unsettling
"Truthfully, when I first found this book, I was going to give it a minute. But then it just became so binge worthy that I couldn’t put it down for 24 hours. I was really enjoying their dynamic and the whirlwind relationship. And the the book...took such a hard right my neck got whiplash. But I recovered because it was unexpected and I thought okay okay my girl is doing the damn thing. And you know what we can breathe without ol’ boy. SLIGHT SPOILERS: And without giving too much away, I just...started to really hate the MLC. . How quickly he was able to...change his bed really really bugged me. She gave him an opening and he literally ran with it. I wasn’t rooting for them anymore. Our girl ended up building herself up to come back and settle. I feel like there were a lot of missed opportunities for our leading lady to be her own woman. What happened to jackass Matt?! Beau?! The best guy ever...cmon. Regardless of all of that, the author still kept me! I loved her writing and I was still in for the long haul. It ended...and I am just here for it and plan on reading whatever this author produces. "

"Ms. Flair has written a page-turner in this one. The characters are believable- in a college romance way- and the difference between hockey and dance plays very well into the plot. I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings! I’ll definitely look for more of her stories. "

"The plot was interesting at first, but the lack of continuity really took me out of the story. Suddenly, Sophie has a father who was never mentioned in the first third of the novel. She is supposed to be broke, yet that struggle seems to disappear for a while. The timeline is also confusing: she was meant to audition for a full scholarship a week after Cami came back, but it feels like several weeks pass instead. There are also inconsistencies with Eli’s living situation. He was living with his teammates in the hockey house, but then he suddenly has his own apartment when Sophie moves in. I know I might be picky for noticing these details, but they prevented me from fully loving the story."
