what is PAIN?
Shoji accepted to live with this young adult woman named "Anna". She usually lived alone with no one really to talk to, she mostly cut down huge tree's for resources since that was her duty given by the higher-ups. She truly hated doing that as a partial hobby and job but none the less it had to be done otherwise she wouldn't be able to make some income.
A minute of finding comfort...
As shoji got settled in Anna's cabin, he noticed how...Cosy and sort of loving it felt as in the presence of his surroundings. Smelling freshly made curry with dipped-in soy sauce dumplings made him shiver and quiver with hunger... shoji asked the woman "What's your name if i should ask?" The woman replied "Oh I'm sorry my manners are apparently not here (laughs awkwardly) my name is Anna" Shoji replied "That's a nice name..."
Anna said "Dont be silly (laughs passionately) it's a very...normal name it's nothing that special..." Shoji saw that her expression begin to fade into sadness as he wondered what to do and how to cheer her up. Shoji said with confidence "Your name doesn't have to be special or "unique" because it's clear that you're a special person by you're personality and cooking skills, it's amazing Anna" Anna heard this sentence and had teared up since that's the first time that someone was genuine about her... Anna said to Shoji "Aww d-don't make m-me blush... You wanna taste?" She implied the delicious curry with dumplings that were made with precision.
Shoji shouted "Hell yeah!!! Please it smelt so good from the start as well!" Anna replied "Alright I'll serve you a plate (chuckles) I'd never expected those word's of motivation from Mr stubborn himself". Shoji said "Dont ever down yourself Anna, You're capabilities are immaculant you don't ever have to impress anyone whether it's physically in battle or in general" Anna turned tomato red and said "O-ok hotshot that's enough compliments if you continue, I might just burst into rice dumplings (laughs)".
Time was spent well between the two as they got to know eachother more and their childhoods. This seemed like "THE LIFE" that Shoji wanted but it would only just shoot back to reality...
Now just how the hell...did i end up here? Shoji thought as his still waking up. Shoji hears a beautiful harmonious voice next to him saying "Good morning~(yawns) how's the bed mhm? Unlike sitting on that tree stump every day". Shoji froze up noticing that he was in the same bed with Anna. "Wait what the fu-" language said Anna. As both of them got up, shoji still being bamboozled while Anna went to go get dressed.
Shoji heard an unpleasant aura outside the cabin...he wondered to himself if his just hearing thing's since he just woke up...Then the sounds became louder and louder as it cuts to a huge explosion on the ground outside. Shoji shouted out of concern "Anna come see this, What the hell is going on?!" Anna replied "I heard that too! I'm almost done!" Shoji went out with courage to see what was really going on. He saw a shadow-like figure that resembled a human just in an uncanny way. His eyes were comparable to that of a plate (very elongated).
This figure said to Shoji "So...i suppose you're the target i was asigned to kill...will it be my pleasure?" Shoji replied mockingly "Not by a mile are you even laying a FINGER ON ME Mr plate". The figure was offended and said in an intimidating manner "You...You're quite disrespectful ain't ya...DONT YOU EVER talk bullshit about me EVER again... Since this would be you're last talk before you DIE by me". Shoji replied "You can't reach my level of cockyness you bitch (laughs)"
Anna shouted out from the door of the cabin "Shoji please dont talk shit to him! Shadow monster's get more powerful the more negative word's you spout at them...".Shoji thought to himself "Oh...damn it i never knew". A attack flown at shoji causing multiple scars on his face and body. "Shoji are you okay!?" Shouted Anna. Shoji shouted back "I'm fine Anna I'll be okay just stay inside the cabin..." The figure replied "Well ain't you're lover afraid about you dying...so cute they say".
"Keep your shady mouth shut!" Shoji shouted. Shoji went in to try and lay a hit on this figure but to no avail he couldn't. Anna out of concern and desperation flung a axe at the figure that she had in her left hand. With such force equivalent to a bull raming into someone. The figure said "My name is olyx if you wanted to kno-" his arm cut off by the axe cutting off his conversation aswell.
"You fucking BITCH! Why do you have to interfere with my little conversation with ya man!"(bleeds from his arm but instantly regenerates it). "Take this Shoji!" Two huge blows to the face and to the gut sended shoji flying back...but his training paid off. His training involved making oneself semi-immune to physical pain...but he couldn't help but feel this pain in both areas of his body. Shoji asked Olyx "What...is true PAIN olyx?" Olyx replied out of confusion "What the hell do you mean!? It's when i beat your ass is what i call pain!" Shoji takes another hit making him numb in the face and legs...
I'm...not joking anymore...what...IS TRUE PAIN?
