Mi adorada princesa de ojos celestes

En el vasto universo del destino, nuestro amor es una estrella fugaz que ilumina la oscuridad. Te juro para toda la eternidad que siempre serás la dueña de mi corazón. Nuestro lazo es un hilo de seda tejido por los dioses que ni la muerte podrá separar.

A aquellos que osaron separarnos, les digo: que la sombra de la noche los envuelva en su manto de olvido, y que su alma sea llevada por los vientos del arrepentimiento.

Pero tú, mi princesa, no temas, porque nuestra historia es un camino incompleto, esperando ser recorrido. Mi amor, tus ojos son el reflejo del cielo, tu sonrisa, la melodía que hace cantar mi alma, y tu cabello, hilos de oro que me guían en la oscuridad. Te esperaré, sin importar el tiempo, sin importar la distancia, porque sé que nuestro amor es la fuerza que mueve el universo.

Con lágrimas contenidas, el hombre levantó el velo de la novia.

La pareja compartió miradas: pena, dolor, tristeza. Había una sonrisa, pero no estaba viva; había una mirada celeste, apagada, sin brillo; había una boda, pero corazones vacíos; el viento ondulaba su cabello dorado, ahora recogido bajo una coleta de penitencia.

Compartieron miradas, pero no hubo palabras, no hubo rechazo ni alegría. Mientras el anillo avanzaba sobre el dedo de la novia, el hombre no pudo evitar preguntarse si estaba haciendo lo correcto. Al fin estarían juntos y la espera había terminado. Pero algo no era correcto, se sentía impuro.

El juramento se cerró con un beso, labios fríos, miradas apagadas, sonrisas falsas. Aquel hombre la amaba, lo había hecho durante siglos, pero ella, ella ya no era su princesa...
